He explained that the engine might need a new water pump, and explained how this was best done (and for lower cost) during the timing belt replacement that is done at this service interval. When he informed me that the pump was indeed leaking, he took me into the service bay and showed me the residue form a leak on the pump housing. The RX also need new front brake pads for the first time. Mr. Malik kept me informed of the repair progress through the afternoon, and had the vehicle ready when promised. This service visit was handled in a professional and polite manner that will keep me coming back to Pohanka Lexus. More
20,000 Checkup Service agent was neither friendly nor communicative but he seemed competent. Car was promised at 3PM but I received no call. I called at 4PM. Quick checkout was not offered and I forgot to ask. After paying I had to wait about 15 minutes. Car was not washed. This was not the kind of Lexus service I have come to expect from Pohanka after buying 4 new cars there and hvaving them serviced over about ten years. More

Outstanding Customer Service - Jason Skidds I recently received service on my Lexus RX450 for a leak on the under carriage of my car. Jason was exceptionally patient with all of my questions, to I recently received service on my Lexus RX450 for a leak on the under carriage of my car. Jason was exceptionally patient with all of my questions, took me back to talk to the mechanic to help me understand the full issue of the repair. The repair took several hours to accomplish. Jason provided me with a loaner which allowed me to go about my day. He called me to let me know the status and provided me with an approximate time of when the work would be completed. Upon return, Jason was kind enough to waive the 5 dollar rental fee. Every time I take my car in for service I usually request Jason as he has the best customer service professionalism that I have come across in a long time. Within hours he found a 2014 left over that qualified me for 0.9% financing. DJ and John helped me get through the financing even fed exing the paperwork to a hotel due to my travel schedule. Since I'm an out of state busy working woman, I appreciated getting a cost below invoice without having to haggle. The best part was that DJ delivered the car to me at work demonstrating his dedication to customer service because it was the rainiest day ever. More

When I recently brought in my 2005 Lexus 430 for extended warranty and unrelated repairs, Mitch quickly set me up with a loaner car and over the next few days, albeit he was off on two of those days, Mitch called me daily with a status report until my car was ready for pick-up. Mitch is a true credit to Pohanka Lexus, as is his thoughtful and attentive boss, Kevin Murray. I feel that my car is in good hands when overseen by Mitch and Kevin. More
Customer Satisfaction Since we were interested in a Lexus and there was no Lexus dealer located close to us, we were introduced to Mickey Whitehead through another Pohanka Since we were interested in a Lexus and there was no Lexus dealer located close to us, we were introduced to Mickey Whitehead through another Pohanka dealer via phone and e-mails. We worked with Mickey for several weeks before actually meeting him in person. It was obvious from the start that he was genuine and honest. We were able to narrow our search down to a new ES350 with fewer features or a pre-owned one with the features that we were looking for. When we first visited his dealership and met him in person, we were able to select and drive home in our 2013 Certified Pre-owned Lexus as very satisfied customers. The only problem that we have had was receiving our title via Fed-EX. Mickey got involved and resolved the problem as if it was his own. I would recommend Mickey Whitehead to anyone interested in purchasing a Lexus. More

We had such a great experience with that sales process, that when it was time for me to buy another car, they were my first (and only) stop. I was in and out with my new car in under 2 hours (including the financing)! Mickey was great to work with - no pressure at all, very friendly and helpful. The financing team was just as good. I got the car I wanted, at the price that I was looking to pay. I have nothing but great things to say about Pohanka. I do not even live close to Pohanka. I live about 30 miles away from the dealership (no small distance in DC rush-hour). That being said, as long as I am living in the area, I will be buying all of my cars from them. More
