I had been researching the availability of low mileage Impalas. Pohanka is my local dealer. They all were very upfront, fair, and transparent in appraising my trade (Malibu) and pricing the Impala. The delivery made it an even better experience because it was quick but thorough. I have used this dealer in the past for service on my Malibu (and intend to continue with my Impala). I highly recommend the sales team (especially David) and the service department and confident that they will exceed your expectations. More

This review is not a reflection of the sales department, finance or the good people in the service department. Unfortunately it is a review of the the service departments manager, Mr. Stauffer. I brought my finance or the good people in the service department. Unfortunately it is a review of the the service departments manager, Mr. Stauffer. I brought my 2013 Cruze LTZ into Phohanka for a part that was damaged and covered under the warranty, the rubber outer seal that surrounds the door, in this case the passenger side door. The seal was not seated properly at the factory. While inspecting the seal, he's trying to talk me out of wanting to have it properly fixed, I'm hearing things like, 'it's not easy to get the new seal seated correctly','it's not an important seal to keep the rain out', 'we could cut the rubber piece that's sticking up with an exacto knife, make it look even'. What? How dissapointing. Is this the new GM or just the same o same o? I'm waiting for wheel locks to be installed and Mr Stauffer comes into the waiting area they finished but at the same time he says that he did the exacto thing. Bells go off. I go up to the car and the rubber was sliced in a feeble attempt to even out the strip and of course it doesn't take much to know how it looks. I look at him and say, I told you not to cut anything, he says we didn't cut that. That's the way it was???. I showed him the strip no more than 1/2 hr ago. In a short time I'm being called a liar and my imagination is running wild. The more Mr Stauffer denied cutting it the more his foot got in his mouth. Is this how GM turned out, they think so little of their cars a slice and dice fix to correct a factory issue will do? Implying the mechanics are to stupid to remove and replace a door seal properly. Arguing with customers who just paid over $30,000, or is that not enough? I wonder if the folks at Audi, BMW, Acura or Lexus would be the same way? Answer: No! I owned two of the four and the service department personnel and technicians are top notch. I gave the sales department an A+ and now the service manager a D. For what. All you needed to do was to own up for your mistake, not blame anyone or double talk me with your buddy you called over to agree with you. More
This is my second new car purchase from Pohanka Chevrolet. Mark Califa is the reason I look to Pohanka first. For both of my purchases, Mark C. has been knowledgeable, helpful, and demonstrates a desire to put my needs first. Additionally, Mark reamained with me through the sales process ensuring my needs were addressed all the way to the point where I drove off the lot. There were many "trivial" details towards the end of the process where he could have walked off, but he did not. This aspect makes a great impression on the customer. I was also very happy with the Financing process managed by Mr. Malika. He was informative without being pushy and helped me make decisions that best fit my needs. I definitely look forward to future vehicle purchases with Mark Califa and Pohanka Chevrolet. I will also refer my family and friends. More

Mr. Marsden was able to accommodate me on very short notice, and when he realized that he was overbooked by the time of my arrival, he offered for me to work with David Wheeler so that I did not have to reschedule. David Wheeler was by my side for every step of my purchase from the moment we shook hands to the moment I stepped out of the dealership with the keys to my new Spark in hand. Every question or request was met with patience and understanding, and Mr. Wheeler took the time to make sure I understood the features of my new car (including set-up for Onstar) before leaving the lot. He also stayed with me after all the paperwork was filled out to help set-up the OnStar service which was extremely nice and helpful. David also called me the following day to make sure that I was still happy with the car and to see if I had any questions. I also worked with Terry Long to work out the financing aspect of purchasing the Cruze. He explained everything very well and helped to make sure that I understood everything about financing my car. Both David and Terry were wonderful and made my experience painless and easy. I would highly recommend both of them to a friend if they were interested in buying a Chevy. More

Through the partnership of Costco and Pohanka's Mark Califa, I would able to navigate the sometimes stressful experience of acquiring a new vehicle. Mr. Califa was courteous, respectful and extremely patient with a customer who is not knowlegeable of the process. My last vehicle purchase was ten years ago at Pohanka and I expecedt no less in customer satisfaction and service than I have experienced in the lasat ten years. I was not disappointed in that expectation. My thanks also to the gentleman who delivered my new Volt to my home address the next day. I believe his name was Anuj - he patiently and courteously made sure I understood the process to "power up Volt" in my garage. I look forward to the same level of service and courtesy from Pohanka in the future. And......I'm lovin' the Volt so far!!! Diana Acker More

He promised me a good deal and a great car for the price I wanted to pay. I came in at 1PM and around 6PM I drove off in my new 2013 Chevrolet Cruze LTZ fully equipped. A very nice looking car that I have received compliments on. Terry Long was the finance manager that got me the great deal David promised. Pohanka Chevrolet is a friendly place to be, the staff is friendly and greet you with a smile. I know because I sat there 5 hours and was comfortable. I would highly recommend Pohanka Chevrolet.
