John, my salesman and Terry in finance were both outstanding and couldn't be more helpful. I went into the dealership this past Saturday in hopes of finding a new car. The experience was both easy and enjoyable! The way I was treated went above and beyond all expectations. I will visit Pohanka for another car when the time comes without question. John was not a cheesy car sales guy, who you just want to roll your eyes at because you feel their lies being thrown at you. He was very matter of fact, up front, genuine...he was young and full of energy. It's clear he loves his job and has a great attitude. He showed me a variety of cars and test drove the one I decided was my favorite. I felt he was the perfect salesman to fit my needs. He answered all my questions and made the process easy. After making it official, Terry in finance arranged the paperwork. He also impressed me. He was one of the friendliest, sharpest, and informative people I've met at a dealership. He answered every single question I had and broke the costs down in clear detail which was I was really appreciative of, especially as a young first time buyer. Terry was great with finding me the best interest rate in order to finance my car. I could tell he genuinely cared about me as a customer and it wasn't just an act, he was truly upfront and honest. Everything was simple and efficient and I couldn't be more impressed by Terry. I also met the general manager (I think his name was Dan) and he was just as nice and helpful. I knew there was no shadiness going on at Pohanka whatsoever. They all took great care of me and I was lucky to get a great deal on the car. They even stayed well past closing time in order to finish up the deal so that I could drive the car off the lot. I am so grateful this dealership goes above and beyond to help and will do anything they can to make the process of purchasing a car easier. The overall car buying process was fun! They made the purchase extremely easy, accommodated my hectic schedule and went above and beyond when working the trade-in vehicle, even removing the after market stereo for me. I am not sure they could have done anything to improve the experience. The salesperson, David Wheeler, stayed in contact even while I was out of town. I gave him the specifications of what I wanted and he delivered. I realize this cannot happen without strong leadership and the entire staff is to be commended. Finally, Terry Long was very professional in explaining the various options. He was honest, respectful, and trustworthy. It is very important to me that a salesman makes an honest personal connection with a prospective buyer. I looked at vehicles at a number of dealerships and the reception always seems to be a façade and the sales force pretentious. I am glad I came back to Pohanka. It has been six years since my last purchase so none them would have recognize me. However, I was treated like they have known me for years. That is customer service! I had been researching the availability of low mileage Impalas. Pohanka is my local dealer. David, Lenny, and GM Steve took the time to learn my needs for my next vehicle and communicated regularly with m Impalas. Pohanka is my local dealer. David, Lenny, and GM Steve took the time to learn my needs for my next vehicle and communicated regularly with me on pre-owned vehicles in their inventory that would meet my needs. They all were very upfront, fair, and transparent in appraising my trade (Malibu) and pricing the Impala. The delivery made it an even better experience because it was quick but thorough. I have used this dealer in the past for service on my Malibu (and intend to continue with my Impala). I highly recommend the sales team (especially David) and the service department and confident that they will exceed your expectations. More

This review is not a reflection of the sales department, finance or the good people in the service department. Unfortunately it is a review of the the service departments manager, Mr. Stauffer. I brought my finance or the good people in the service department. Unfortunately it is a review of the the service departments manager, Mr. Stauffer. I brought my 2013 Cruze LTZ into Phohanka for a part that was damaged and covered under the warranty, the rubber outer seal that surrounds the door, in this case the passenger side door. The seal was not seated properly at the factory. While inspecting the seal, he's trying to talk me out of wanting to have it properly fixed, I'm hearing things like, 'it's not easy to get the new seal seated correctly','it's not an important seal to keep the rain out', 'we could cut the rubber piece that's sticking up with an exacto knife, make it look even'. What? How dissapointing. Is this the new GM or just the same o same o? I'm waiting for wheel locks to be installed and Mr Stauffer comes into the waiting area they finished but at the same time he says that he did the exacto thing. Bells go off. I go up to the car and the rubber was sliced in a feeble attempt to even out the strip and of course it doesn't take much to know how it looks. I look at him and say, I told you not to cut anything, he says we didn't cut that. That's the way it was???. I showed him the strip no more than 1/2 hr ago. In a short time I'm being called a liar and my imagination is running wild. The more Mr Stauffer denied cutting it the more his foot got in his mouth. Is this how GM turned out, they think so little of their cars a slice and dice fix to correct a factory issue will do? Implying the mechanics are to stupid to remove and replace a door seal properly. Arguing with customers who just paid over $30,000, or is that not enough? I wonder if the folks at Audi, BMW, Acura or Lexus would be the same way? Answer: No! I owned two of the four and the service department personnel and technicians are top notch. I gave the sales department an A+ and now the service manager a D. For what. All you needed to do was to own up for your mistake, not blame anyone or double talk me with your buddy you called over to agree with you. More
