I am writing about my recent car buying experience and the exceptional service we received from your salesperson, Mr. Clark Sharp. After visiting numerous dealerships to look at both Jeep Grand Cherokees the exceptional service we received from your salesperson, Mr. Clark Sharp. After visiting numerous dealerships to look at both Jeep Grand Cherokees and Toyota Highlanders, we decided to visit Pohanka to check out a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee that we had seen online. Shortly after our arrival we were approached by Clark who was very disarming and relaxed, which immediately put us at ease. He answered all of our questions and took a great deal of time with us to make sure that this was the right vehicle for us. He did not pressure us and was extremely patient during the entire transaction. I particularly dislike negotiating price and have frequently left dealerships when I feel like I'm being played. Clark was very straight forward in his negotiation of price and did not waste a lot of our time getting to a number that we felt was very fair. He gained our trust early in the process and that carried through to the final deal. Clark should be praised for his calm demeanor, his knowledge, and his patience. He is a true professional and is an asset to the Pohanka team. We will highly recommend others to visit Pohanka to receive the same excellent treatment that we experienced from Clark. More

Korosh remained in contact the entire time and consistently sent updates on new vehicle specials and financing options. I was very particular in the financing rate and term I wanted for the loan and Pohanka was able to make it happen by searching for the right bank who would finance the loan for me. I have to admit I was placing a lot of demands on Korosh and Pohanka for the vehicle I wanted and how much I wanted to pay and both consistently worked with me and continued to search for every option available to make the deal happen. I was looking to purchase a rust free truck, which is impossible in ohio. After looking through countless trucks online from different dealers, i found one that looked perfect at Pohanka. I used the autotrader online chat system and had all my questions about purchasing out of state answered by Clark, We kept in contact via email knowing that I was not going to be in the area for a few weeks. Luckily the truck was still available when i was ready, and we met Clark at the dealership. The truck was more than expected, Clark and the rest of the staff were excellent. He even bought us lunch while we waited for our financing to come through. Time in and out was great, everything went smoothly, and I love my new truck. I would recommend Pohanka and Clark Sharp to anyone and next time I am looking for a quality used GM vehicle I will be certain to call him first, even though they are 7 hours away. More

Having found the vehicle I was looking for online, I proceeded to Pohanka Chevy to evaluate it (2008 GMC Acadia). When I arrived at the lot, I was thankfully met by John Marsden, and not one of the 15 proceeded to Pohanka Chevy to evaluate it (2008 GMC Acadia). When I arrived at the lot, I was thankfully met by John Marsden, and not one of the 15 newbies that were walking the lot at the time. While I am sure they will be great, I am used to experience, and that is what I got when John approached me. I told John what I wanted and that I wanted to make a deal that day. He skipped the typical sales guy B.S. of trying to get me into something new or different, and took me right inside to pre-qual and grab the keys. Having done some research and looked at a few other higher end cars, I knew what I wanted, and I knew that I would be getting it at a great Price, based on what Auto Trader had it listed for. John walked me though the inspection process and the carfax, and even evaluated a steering column noise that we could not determine the origin of. After some research it turned out to be loose steering wheel volume knobs, which I was able to quite down with a twist of a screw. While I did not get what I wanted to my trade (I had a bit of a higher quote from Carmax for my trade), the price of the vehicle off set that, and I still got something that I considered very reasonable if not a great deal. After about 1400 in equity on my trade, and a full 3yr 36000 mile GMPP warrenty I walked away with a deal 1K below retail. In my mind this was pretty great, and boy did I shop. Take it from a picky person, John Marsden did an excellent job, and walked me though the whole process. The finance guy, who I can't think of his name, was GREAT. Matched my credit union quote just about dead on. CU had 2.99 for 84 MO. But I was able to get 2.99 for 72 MO, which was certainly reasonable for a normal bank loan. Overall I give my experience a 9 out of 10. With the only point missing being the trade value. However, for the price they list their cars, I could see why they did not want to go higher. Certainly an A+ place. More
