He welcomed us warmly and we got to work on a test drive and paperwork. PS... He knows the Acura products very well! More

I started my search for a new commuter car about a month ago. Found the car I wanted in Richmond but couldn't come to an agreement on a deal. I searched number 1 volume Acura dealer and Pohanka Acura came up. I searched their website and they had the identical car I wanted. I reached out to the dealership who put me in contact with Mr. Kim. We worked out a deal within an hr or so via text/ email. Mr. Kim was knowledgeable, cordial and provided the best experience purchasing a car I have ever had. I would say this was the most efficient no xx transaction I have ever had with a car dealer. To summarize, I plan to reach out to Mr. Kim next time I'm in the market for a vehicle. More

He made sure to show my wife how to access and operate all of the features of the vehicle, and answered all of our questions thoroughly and professionally. I cannot recall a car dealership sales person who was as wonderful to work with as Yong. Thank you so much for your help! More
Everything was great with our Integra purchase, except for the very end. I never buy maintenance plans, but Joseph told us that the differential on an Acura needed to be serviced every 17K, and that it w for the very end. He also told me the Coolant was replaced every 23K. I agreed to purchased a 48K plan with the intention of cancelling if those numbers turned out to be wrong. It took me 3 weeks of hassle to get accurate mileage numbers for these services, only to find that Joseph's numbers were wrong. In fact my Integra doesn't get a Differential fluid change at all, because it is integrated with the transmission. Joseph says those numbers come from his training materials, which makes it sound like he is trained to mislead customers about the benefit of these plans. Pohanka’s website says: “When you visit us in-store, you’ll be treated with honesty, respect, and like a member of our own families”. What I experienced is the opposite of ‘honesty’. I think smart buyers know not to purchase these service plans from the dealer. In fact, everything sold by the special salesperson at the very end of the process is a high profit item for the dealer, which means it is a bad deal for they buyer. And as I learned (again), you can't trust anything that person says. Here are some of the 'misstatements' I have from Joseph (in writing): 1) differential fluid changes at 17K 2) coolant changes at 23K 3) mileage numbers for services 'under normal driving conditions' don't exist. 4) mileage numbers for services 'under normal driving conditions' are in the user manual and maintenance log. As I learned, the mileage numbers for 'normal driving conditions do exist. They are not in the user manual or published anywhere, but the service department knows them. You just have to push to get them. More

Attempted to do business with these guys but after a fallout with the Sales Rep over financing, the dealership manager (don't recall her name) contacted me presumably to work it out, but fell flat on h fallout with the Sales Rep over financing, the dealership manager (don't recall her name) contacted me presumably to work it out, but fell flat on her face. She was so pompous and proud of the many awards that she has, that my concerns were second fiddle at best. Needless to say that didn't go well at all so I bought my new car at Radley. Nice job Pohanka.......if your objective is to drive customers away. I'm perfectly happy driving to Woodbridge so that I don't have to listen to the manager brag about how great her dealership is (the same one that failed to sell me a car). More
