Shah was conscientious and consistent in calling me back, negotiating a price and service even after I bought the car. very friendly and I felt like I could trust him. i just get the new car zdx from pohanka dealer and i really like the person sale that car for me name shah . he respond anything i want to ask about. he send me a purchase order via my email right away really like the person sale that car for me name shah . he respond anything i want to ask about. he send me a purchase order via my email right away to proff what he tell in the phone. because i went to other acura they talk in the phone but when i come there ,they will say no no not tHAT PRICE.. i loooking around in pensyvina and virgnia and maryland for acura dearler to get zdx and no one can give me the good price like pohaka dealer . so i really satifly with this car and service on what i got .. thanks pohaka and shah ,one more things i live in pensyvania and i have to go to pohanka in va to get my car that because all that good price and service i got.. I went into the Pohanka dealership after receiving a phone call in May, 2010 informing me they were giving mileage overage credits or "forgiveness" on leased vehicles and to come in so they could work o phone call in May, 2010 informing me they were giving mileage overage credits or "forgiveness" on leased vehicles and to come in so they could work out a deal with me to get me out of my leased vehicle which was to expire in mid-July, 2010. I hadn't decided yet whether I would purchase my leased vehicle, continue to rent it or trade it in. I went to the dealership in mid-June, 2010 and that same day left the dealership with a brand new 2010 Acura TL. I traded my car in and they "forgave" half of the mileage overage, the other half was supposedly rolled into the new loan and I gave them a $1,000 down payment. THEN! a month later after thinking the car was mine and enjoying it, even traveled out of state a couple of times to see my family, I received a phone call from Courtney Lindquist, the Finance Director, at Pohanka to tell me that she could not get me financed and my only options were to pay a much higher interest rate or return the car! First of all, I never knew that there was a question about the financing when I drove away with the car one month earlier and I most certainly did not expect to receive a phone call one month later telling me to return the car or pay the higher finance charge. What is more incredible is that they waited to tell me this after my leased car term had expired and Courtney proceeded to tell me that I can not have my leased car back either. So, NOW I AM WITHOUT ANY CAR!!! Can you imagine how upsetting this is?! She told me that my credit was not good but you know what, if it wasn't good, why in the xxxx would you let me drive it off the lot and keep it for a month. Nothing had changed with my credit the day I walked in to the time they called me one month later! What really happened is that they saw that I had a hefty mileage overage on my leased car and decided they were not going to go through with this deal except if I agreed to pay a higher finance charge to make up the difference they lost on the mileage. They said they were not making anything on the new car which is crap!!! I paid the sticker price. I then asked to speak to the General Manager and they gave me Lenny Gonzales who did return my call and gave me a 30-minute xxxxxxxx story of how they really worked hard for me over the past month to get this loan through. First of all, if there was any question over my financing why didn't anyone ever tell me this and not let me leave thinking I just purchased a new car and it was a done deal?! This dealership is a disgrace. The only good customer service that I received was initially from the car salesperson Abdul Gist. And I feel really sorry for him that for a month he thought he had a sale and now to find out, he will not get credit for the sale. Abdul was pleasant and I am sure he was excited to get the deal. However, if I was him, I would not work for a shady dealership like Pohanka. Buyer beware expecially on a trade-in with overage in miles and close to the end of your lease term. It's amazing that dealerships get away with this!! More

I used the internet to do my comparison shopping. I knew exactely what I wanted, so I was comparing apples with apples. Kwin was responsive, and listened to what I wanted instead of insisting that I "come exactely what I wanted, so I was comparing apples with apples. As Pohanka has always done the service on my last two Acuras, I decided to go with her eventho she was $300 over the next dealer. I felt the $300 was worth the goodwill. I have been extremely happy with Kwin's attention to detail, absolute committment to service, and complete knowledge of the car. She has been delightful to work with. My choice to go with Kwin and Pohanka Acura to purchase my 2010 TSX was the right choice. I will gladly recommend Kwin to anyone looking for a new or pre-owned vehicle. Also, the main reason I have been loyal and support Pohanka Acura is because of their outstanding Service Representative, Jerry Soriano. Jerry has been honest, fair, and trustworthy in all the dealings I have had with Pohanka's service department. I can not imagine having anyone else ever be in charge of the care and maintenance of my car but Jerry. Kwin Leynes in Sales and Jerry Soriano in Service --- a winning combination. More

I had a really great experience at this Acura dealership. While working with Abdul Gist, he made it a very comfortable purchase for my very first vehicle. I ended up purchasing a 2008 used car, and he made sure I got exactly what I was looking for. I took my time looking for the right vehicle at many other dealerships and other options, however when it came down to the quality of service and reassurance I needed to feel comfortable with my first car purchase, he made it very easy for me to make my decision. I told him what I was looking for, he found it, I came in for a test drive, and from there we agreed on a very reasonable price. He knew I was on a budget, as most of us are nowadays, and he was still able to find everything that I wanted in my vehicle. From the very first of working with Abdul, I never felt pressured to purchase anything I wasn't comfortable with buying yet. After going back and forth between different cars that I was looking for, he showed me a few different models that he knew I'd be interested in, and from there I found exactly what I was looking for with very little effort on my part. Of course everyone dreads the financial aspect of the deal, however Abdul made the process very clear and comprehensive. If I was ever confused on any portion of the deal terms, he was able to explain it in a different way until I fully understood that portion. He knew exactly what my budget was and made sure my deal was within those limits. Overall, I was very pleased with the entire process of buying my first car. I would reccommend Abdul Gist to anyone who needs that little bit of extra guidance and doesn't want to feel like your dealing with your everyday car salesman. He is a very friendly and easy to talk to professional who will guaranteed find you the car you are looking for, without question. More
