Corresponded with Rick over a week or so prior to visiting the dealership from NC. The information that Rick provided was clear and accurate to my experience when I arrived at the dealership. I had done a lot of research on the front end, and had identified a specific vehicle that I was interested in purchasing (2014 RDX). I was in and out of the dealership, with a trade-in, in about an hour or so. Very positive experience overall, and the price was unmatched elsewhere. Definitely worth the commute from NC to VA for the savings, and I would definitely recommend Pohanka Acura to others. One final note is the Financial manager, who also did not try to pressure me into any add-on packages with my purchase. The options were presented, and I respectfully declined. I decided to buy a TL this month and ended up purchasing it at Pohanka Acura. From beginning to end the experience was enjoyable. I showed up to Pohanka Acura at about 6:45 on a Saturday night. (they close at 7!) I figured no one would want to talk or help me since they were just about to close. However, Phillip Carleton came and introduced himself and talked to me for a little bit. I didn't leave until probably 730ish because he was assessing my needs and wants. I even went on a test drive for the Acura TSX. I ended up making an appointment with him for the next day. The following day I spent probably 4 or 5 hours at the dealership and felt that Phillip and the rest of the Acura team really took care of my needs. I needed a good deal on a car as this is my first car purchase and Phillip really reasoned with me and his managers to get me a great deal on a spanking new 2013 Acura TSX. He made sure all my needs were taken care of through the whole process. Phillip in my mind is reliable and you don't find that in many car salesmen. I know that if I experience trouble with anything in my car or need help with learning something about it that I can email or call him and he will help me out. Buying your first car is an exciting process-and I can happily say that I not only LOVE LOVE LOVE my new car but I had an easy, smooth, and fun experience.
