I was at the dealership to have my TL serviced and decided to take a trip to the show room. Well, I met a salesman by the name of Philip Carleton, and we begin to casually discuss my car buying needs. I was interested in a 2014 RDX and decided to give Phillip my conditions on another TL instead. To my surprise, he had negotiated a deal on a 2014 TL that I could not refuse. I couldn’t believe how quickly he was able to get me in my new car at a price that made me very happy. WOW!!! Phillip was very professional, friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating, and “always” concerned about putting the customer needs first. I was then introduced to the Finance Manager, Ray Morton. This made my day because I worked with Ray in the past. This young man is the best in the field when it comes to efficiency and providing you with all of the options and recommending the best products to fit your specific needs. He is Awesome!!!!!!! The car buying experience is very exhausting and it takes up too much of your time. However, Phillip and Ray was able to take away all of the pressure and stress that made this a painless, yet pleasurable experience. If it were not for these gentlemen, I’m not so sure that I would have brought another Acura. Yong Kim gave me several options, explained very well about the options, and helped me trade-in my car with the new Acura at the best price on the both side. I have never had such great experience in car buying with trade-in. When I went to the dealership after making decision, the car and all the paper works were ready, so my wait time was very minimal. Straight 5's Across the Board I recently had the most pleasurable experience shopping for a new vehicle. I first dropped in at Pohanka Acura one afternoon just after work. Altho I recently had the most pleasurable experience shopping for a new vehicle. I first dropped in at Pohanka Acura one afternoon just after work. Although I didn't have a scheduled appointment, when I approached the showroom entrance...I was immediately greeted by one of the Pohanka staff. He promptly introduced me to Christopher P., who was very friendly and enthusiastic. (It's easy to see he loves his job!) I explained to Christopher what I was searching for and an idea of my requirements. He was very knowledgeable about the Acura brand, and quickly led me to a selection of vehicles on the lot. We test drove a few cars, reviewed some trim packages on the dealer's inventory, and scheduled a follow-up test drive the following day. The next day Christopher gave me a phone call...informing me that my requested vehicle had arrived at the dealership. After work, I went to the dealer...test drove and inspected the in's and out's of the vehicle. I took my wife, who also commented on Christopher's knowledge and easy going attitude. There was no pressure to make a deal (purchase) and we had a 10 minute negotiation. I was then introduced to the Finance Mgr, Roy M. He was very helpful and reviewed all the financial matters efficiently and with clarity. He even looked up my Acura finance application, made a few adjustments, and had me on my way with the brand new vehicle. The morning of the deal, I was approx. 90% sure that I'd make a deal with Pohanka Acura. After the phone call - I was 110% sure about making a deal!. Summing it up: Over the 24 hour period, between first contact with Pohanka and before completing the purchase...I was extremely delighted with the entire experience.
