I needed a car for my job and I couldn't decide what car to chose. Eric helped me with choosing a right car in my price range. He also gave me a discount and helped me to get approved for a loan. DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR FROM HERE EVER!!! They are all liars, pass-the-buck, beat-around-the-bush people. They rip you off and are so insensitive. I fell in love with a pre-owned 2010 Hyundai Elantra, my very first car ever. I decided this was the one, signed all the papers needed to be signed, got a bank approval, got my plates, got my insurance, all the good stuff. They also made a deal to detail my car and install an active alarm. So, my car stood in the shop for THREE DAYS, and low and behold, THREE DAYS LATER, after thousands of phone calls, I was told by PAUL (stay away from him!) that my CAR WAS SOLD!!!!!! Thank goodness no money was lost in this unfortunate experience, but it was the worst experience ever!!! DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! SPREAD THE WORD!! THIS PLACE IS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!! THEY SEEM "NICE" BUT ARE RIPPING YOU OFF!!!! This place seriously needs to be shut-down! More

Gave best deal for trade in so far. But tried to have me insure a Highlander I possibly wasn't gonna buy, because that is they only way they could do the financing work, they said. They said if I switched my vehicle, for the Highlander on my insurance, that if I didn't but the Highlander, my insurance wouldn't collapse on my current vehicle, for 5 days, and if i didn't buy the new one, just call Geico back. I had them call Geico to ask about this, of course this wasn't true. I would have no insurance on my current vehicle if I didn't take the Highlander. 1st strike. Second, the vehicle I wanted, and what was suppose to be written up, was one on the showroom floor. They wrote up another, with a different color interior, but same color exterior. Second strike. Then they tried to get me with a 71 month financing at 7.9% APR, which would have been over $9,500 in finance charges. I said no, then they did 2.9%, at 60 months, which would have been just over $3,000 in finance charges. Same monthly payments though. Why not do that in first place? Tried to get an additional $6,500 from me. 3rd strike, and they were out. As I left, the finance person followed me, and was trying his best to get me to buy, along with the salesperson. I told them, I was not interested, as they had tried to con me three times. They had me park in the valet lot, and the salesperson followed me there, saying the finance manager would like to talk to me, just give the manager five minutes, that's all. I said no, and left. They did give best trade in value so far for my 2008 King Ranch Expedition, but those practices were a huge no no, especially with the financing. No matter where you buy, MAKE SURE YOU READ PAPERS. Make sure the payments make sense. Bring a calculator, so you can get the difference yourself, for what is financed, and what you will pay at the end, of your payment terms. Make sure when a vehicle is written up, you go and check the VIN number and stock number, to what they wrote on the papers. Salesman was honest, and helpful, for some things, then deceptive at others (switch of vehicle, and insurance thing).......... More
I am currently looking for a 2011 Toyota Sienna XLE AWD and unfortunately I have visited Plaza Toyota's showroom. On my first visit I had dealt with a sales person name Carlos and the sales manager, unknow and unfortunately I have visited Plaza Toyota's showroom. On my first visit I had dealt with a sales person name Carlos and the sales manager, unknown name (Heavy set, male, Hispanic). Carlos that day was professional, but I couldn't say the same for my encounter with the sales manager. The sales manager's demeanor was very insulting. I am a potential buyer ready to purchase a vehicle, but instead of working with me he gave me the run around. Due to the price difference I left the showroom. I returned on August 28, 2010 after speaking with Carlos again. I asked if he had 2011 Toyota sienna XLE AWD in Pre-Dawn Gray. His response was yes they do and that I can stop buy the showroom anytime after 9am. I went back to the showroom with high expectations and only to find out that Carlos is not at work and no one can seem to find him. I then approached the sales manager on the floor about my interest in purchasing the 2011 Toyota Sienna XLE AWD, Pre-Dawn Gray color without the DVD and Navigation package for 34,000.00. He refers me to another sales Thomas which was very helpful and informative. I then repeated what I want and can they get it for 34,000. If they can do it, I will put a deposit down. Thomas comes back to tell me that they do not have the vehicle in stock and it will be in the showroom within 90days. But they do have a similar vehicle in a different color and the price will be 35,499.00. Once again the dealership has failed to provide the service it promises. I then had to speak to the sales manager who then aggressively tried to sell the vehicle I did not want. My experience with Plaza Toyota is so negative that I will advise anyone I know not to purchase vehicles from the dealership. No one should have to endure the poor, aggressive, conniving sales tactic that happens at Plaza Toyota. More
Huge rip off & unreputable. They were paid over $5,000.00 to repair a theft recovery. They caused more damage to the car and never repaired the car properly. Rueben claims they have an on site state of the art body shop. That is a lie they use an outside shop MG & Sons located at 9313 Ditmas Avenue. They are butchers and hacks which should be stripped of their franchise rights. I would never patronize Plaza as a result of this experience. Moreover, had I known back then what I know now...I never would have gone there in the first place. More
