Massive scammers!! If you're looking to be ripped off and subjected to typical con-artist behavior, feel free to check out Plaza Toyota. They ripped off my elderly mothe If you're looking to be ripped off and subjected to typical con-artist behavior, feel free to check out Plaza Toyota. They ripped off my elderly mother and VA-disabled father by leasing them a car well above the sticker price. My parents were entitled to over $5,000 worth of credits due to a Veteran's discount, trading in their perfectly used car, as well as taking advantage of an available rebate offer. Instead of applying that credit to the loan amount which they said they will do, they upped the listed sticker price of the car an additional $5,000 thereby scamming my parents the credit that was rightfully theirs. When confronted about this, they claim the increased price is due to "capitalized cost reduction" What exactly does that term mean? And how exactly is that "capitalized cost REDUCTION" equal to an additional $5,000 increase in price? They prey on the elderly and are top-notch scammers. Adam, the sales manager, and Alex, the finance manager should be ashamed of themselves!!! More

The best part is they'll claim they did her a favor and were just looking out for her while squeezing every last dime out of the elderly. In this case it was grandma's 15 year-old jalopy she'd been bringing in faithfully for maintenance since she bought it from them. Somehow that $600 brake job ballooned into a zillion "extras" that they bs'd her with. BTW the car is only worth $1500...... So caveat emptor - and keep the old and unwary away from these fleecebags. Look out for the update after we drag them through courts, Attorney General and DMV. As for Toyota Corporate, sure, you got a friend there too........ For what they did to her, she could be riding Ubers for the next 3 years. After we're done, she will! More
I brought a new 2019 RAV4 from Plaza Toyota. The purchase experience was positive and the staff were great. Make sure to ask for Evgen Veselov from Sales - Evgen had injured his ankle the day before but stil experience was positive and the staff were great. If that can’t even be honest with the little things. Contacted on Facebook messenger looking for a price quote to replace a key. They requested my phone number and email in case they couldn’t reach me I specified that they not contact me other than with the requested price quote. Sure enough, I got a call trying to sell me cars and email within about 15 minutes. They are xxxxxxxx with a horrible sales model like the rest of the car dealers in New York and likely else where. If you are looking to purchase a used car skip these xxxxxxxx and go with the online groups like Carvana and carmax. Much more transparent and much less greasy. More

The diagnostic fee was about $170 dollars with tax included. After sitting there for some time now, the associate (Kelly Ann Jacobs-who was very helpful and understanding) that was there was extremely friendly with the process. I then was told by the mechanic that I had about $3000 dollar damages to my car. For your info, My car is a Toyota Camry 2009 in which I just received the car about roughly 2 years ago. Adding to that I am a female as well. I then instantly cringed up hearing such a crazy price. The mechanic then stated that my caliber was severely damaged, as well as my brakes, needing new rotors, severe oil leak and the need of new tires. The mechanic then stated that it doesn't look good to even drive on it and that we should start this process of fixing It as soon as possible. After denying there services, it took me a few days to process everything and actually find a way to come up with $3000 to fix my car. I then decided to order my parts online since it is fairly cheap to help deduct a large amount from the suggested price by the mechanic. I purchased my brakes on my own which was 2 for $44 at AutoZone and purchased the rotors online. I then searched around Brooklyn for different certified mechanics who I then had complete a diagnostic on my car. It turns out that after stripping my tires, my caliber is perfectly fine in which the mechanic also showed me them. The mechanic did agree that my rear brakes needed to be changed, However the main part which is the caliber has no issues. I then asked the mechanic to check my oil, in which he then look at it and stated that the "severe leak" is quite exaggerating. He then was able to bring me underneath my car to just show me a little crack in the vulva that can be easily fixed and changed. I was extremely pissed after over thinking and actually trying to come up with $3000 and simply get beat in my head. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO PLAZA TOYOTA. They seem to simply take advantage of you and give tell you outrageous prices as well as making things up. The most worst customer service experience I ever endured. More

Unfair treatment/ Discrimination at the car dealership Shawn James sold me a car at your Plaza Automall location on Nostrand Ave in Brooklyn NY. I purchased a used vehicle and at the time of purchase I was Shawn James sold me a car at your Plaza Automall location on Nostrand Ave in Brooklyn NY. I purchased a used vehicle and at the time of purchase I was told by the representative that the key was faulty but he reassured me that I would receive a replacement key quickly. After months and months of getting the run-around I still have no key. Now the faulty key I received from Shawn James is causing mechanical failure to my vehicle. To resolve the mechanical issues, all I need is what was promised to me. I need a working key! When I went in to the location today, I was told that you can no longer provide me with the key that you promised to give me. Instead, I received a sales pitch to purchase another vehicle. Are these the clandestine sales tactics you encourage in your businesses or is this deplorable behavior reserved for customers in my ethnic area? I am utterly disgusted by your establishment. I am now without a working vehicle because I have no key and now I am expected to come out of pocket to resolve an issue that should have been handled correctly initially. I will share my experience with all social media venues as well as the local publications I interact with throughout my profession. A simple fix is all that was required by your staff. Instead, I am forced to expose this unfair treatment so that no other prospective customer will ever have to deal with terrible service. I am unsure if it's my age or my ethnicity that prevents Plaza Automall -2740 Nostrand Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11210 from treating me fairly. I am sure I need your assistance. More
