The service technician said that was not possible, and the tire had to be replaced. I was given a price quote that was quite expensive, and given no other options. After the tire was replaced, I discovered that it was the most expensive line of tires that Toyota carries. Having purchased 2 new tires 10 days earlier from a different Toyota dealership (Westbury Toyota), I know that they are supposed to have other options available. Also, the technician claimed that he did a "diagnostic" of the vehicle finding problems that the other dealership did not 10 days prior. I am quite familiar with the electronic diagnostic that Toyota normally runs, and asked for more information from Kelly Ann. She said that the technician's "diagnostic" was looking beneath the vehicle and driving around the block. While I agree that these are important components of a diagnostic, they are not complete. The technician also admitted that he recommended repairs based on sounds that were "a little funny," and made no mention of an electronic or visual inspection under the hood. Honestly he was describing sounds the vehicle makes when it is not properly warmed up before driving it. I will continue to visit Westbury Toyota on Long Island rather than return to Brooklyn Plaza Toyota if I can help it. More

Issues with Finance Department Carlos as a salesman was FANTASTIC! My overall experience was terrible due to the finance department NOT ADHERING to my request to NOT run my cred Carlos as a salesman was FANTASTIC! My overall experience was terrible due to the finance department NOT ADHERING to my request to NOT run my credit as I secured a loan via the Municipal Credit Union. When I called to question the finance manager as to why he COMPLETELY DISOBEYED my request he had no viable reason as to why he did it. I am formally filing a complaint with the New York Attorney General and Better Business Bureau based on this. I felt taken advantage of and totally disrespected. My formal complaint will be filed with Alexander Pak named SPECIFICALLY! More

Expectations Exceded Jimmy was the service manager for the 10K service only 2016 Camry SE. I cannot begin to say how amazed and pleased I was with the service he provided Jimmy was the service manager for the 10K service only 2016 Camry SE. I cannot begin to say how amazed and pleased I was with the service he provided me. I had a 10:15am appointment and arrived early due to my 8 am personal appointment being cancelled. Jimmy greated me with a smile and got me into the service queue. I had a view of my car being serviced and was amazed that it wasn't just sitting there. Someone was working on it!!!! I say this because I had my 5K service done at another dealership and I waited and waited and waited....even though I had one of the first appointments and was there on time. Based on my experience I was fearful of taking my Camry in to another dealership. I anticipate that this service call should be about a quarter of the time I wasted at the other dealership. I had one minor issue that was my fault for not informing the technician about an aftermarket part. Once the issue was identified, Jimmy took care of it super fast. Just to sum it up, Jimmy was aces and deserves more than five stars. He not only met my expectations, he exceeded them. I was out of my early walk in even before my original appointment. He gained a customer today! Many thanks for making my rainy day a little brighter! More
