I thought that Hyundai did not have any honest sales people; I had gone to two other places previously and it was terrible. Lease on 2009 Elantra ending with less than 11,00 miles and no significant body damage. (I really loved that car, but I also own a 2006 van and travel around the world a great deal) so I drive much less th and no significant body damage. Note: I have acquired 6 previous cars from Plaza (a series of Hondas and the latest Elantra) since the 1980's and have been very satisfied with their sales approach (not too pushy!) price and service. So, despite very attractive offers from several other Hyndai dealers in the metro area, I came to Plaza to learn enough decide whether we should buyout the '09 Elantra or select a newer car from them or go somewhere else. Salesman Anthony Schmidt patiently explained the implications of each option, showed me the new features of the 2012 and 2013 Elantra and Sonata. Controls were familiar, but mainly looking for legroom in passenger seat for my very tall husband. Anthony took me for a test drive in the Elantra and then in a 2013 Sonata. Very slight difference in favor of Sonata despite its extra length. Some of the attractive aspects were the voice activated services, theft protection, adjustable height and heated seat, and ease of steering return after a turn) but difference in price argued in favor of the 2013 Elantra. Sticking point was the color - I preferred a silver car and there was no silver Elantra in their inventory. But there was a silver Sonata GLS. After patiently discussing possible price points and options, loyalty discounts for the Sonata, Marcello and Anthony worked out a deal that would take back my Elantra and nearly meet my bottom line for monthly payments (however it was $25/month more!). While I was waiting for the paper work to be completed, and for Anthony to bring the car back from the storage location, the finance officer bought me supper (soup from the cafe around the corner)! side note - when we contacted GEICO to transfer my current insurance to the new car, it turned out that the Geico rep also drove a 2009 Elantra. We spent come time talking about our mutual satisfaction with the car) I had to leave the dealership at 8:00pm after a only brief run through ( Had been there for 5 hours!) with appointment with Anthony to return in the morning for the full orientation. So I left Plaza without my 2009 Elantra but fully satisfied with the lease arrangements, all the documentation and material I needed as lessee of a 2013 Silver Sonata GLS. I was impressed by the friendliness of other sales people (notably Antony Bocaud andMichael Dakir and the greeter at the door (she offered me several bottles of cold water that helped me to get throughout those long hours at the dealership) More
