less than professionals for the last year i've been bringing my 2006 hyundai sonata V6 to be serviced here. from day 2 i had problems. i leave the car with the dealer, tell for the last year i've been bringing my 2006 hyundai sonata V6 to be serviced here. from day 2 i had problems. i leave the car with the dealer, tell them to throughly check the car for any problems that are not normal. 120 inspection, they claim they fixed the car for the reason i bought the car in for, a check engine light or in a recent case today a ESC ELECTRONIC STABIILTY CONTROL LIGHT. the moment i pay and 15 minutes on the road the check engine and esc lights come back on. i've never been treated so poorly in my life. i purchased an original hyundai part a Steering angular sensor from another hyundai because it was cheaper than what they were charging. hyundai plaza told me the esc light in my car comes on and stays on because of the sensor. they replaced it. with the original part from hyundai and aligned my car and i paid $486.67 and had to wait 2 days to get it back after dropping it off the said time friday morning 7am. hugo the service manager at hyundai called me with 30 minutes left in thier day till closing to tell me the car was ready. i picked it up this morning. paid the cashier $486.67, got my car, 15 minutes into my drive off, the esc light returns. did they fix the problem no. they told me they test drove it aligned it for 30 minutes or more and nothing the day before i picked it up. i called the manager and staff there again but only get unprofessional childess little girls answering the phone covering for the service manager that they are busy. think i'd get a courtesy return call, i haven't. get it right the first time we wont have a problem. this has happened on 3 occasions with them the same service people with sensors and check engine lights issues. they say they completed the job and less the 30 minutes the check engine light is back on. 1000's of dollars spent there in the last year servicing my car. at least between 4 or to 6,000 dollars in repairs and labor that aint worth it. It was a frigid morning Super Sales Professional Michael Dakir and his extraordinary Manager Louis greeted me warmly and provided outstanding service. It was a frigid morning and I was immediately offered a cup of tea. Michael and Louis worked with me and offered me a deal within my budget. Thankfully, I received several deductions and a rebate. I’m very pleased they made it possible for me to purchase my 2020 Hyundai Elantra. Michael was; knowledgeable, kind and patient to coach me to use the wonderful features in the car. Also, Christina wisely and thoroughly guided me to choose the best protection policy. She also kindly and patiently answered all my questions. The completion of the transaction was celebratory! Louis gathered his team and invited me to bang a beautiful bronze bell, Wow, everyone happily cheered me.. It was a signal of a job well done! With big smiles, and a full heart, I felt appreciated and valued. Michael continues to be accessible with grace via his cell phone to provide additional coaching with the features. He assures me I can reach out to him anytime with questions and concerns. Christina too offered me similar support. Overall, my experience was beyond my expectations and I'm grateful I chose this dealership for a 2nd time. Thank you, Michael, Louis and team, for great professionalism, warmth, kindness and support. Wishing you all the best for 2020 More

STAY AWAY! BUYERS BEWARE! We were greeted by Max (salesman) as we looked around and it started as a pleasant shopping experience. We had a test drive and came back to the offic We were greeted by Max (salesman) as we looked around and it started as a pleasant shopping experience. We had a test drive and came back to the office to begin the price negotiation. Of course, he did the usual car salesman talk to his manager multiple times until we agreed on a price. While this was happening, I glanced at the showroom car that we were purchasing and notice paint chipped on the bumper so he was able to bring the price down further. Now that we had that settled, Max suddenly says that we can't purchase the car because someone already had a down payment for it. So he offered another car same trim/model, the same exterior color but different interior color for the same price. We accepted the replacement hoping that this car was from the lot probably won't have any blemishes. We asked how long it would take to see the car from the lot and when we can do the financing paperwork. Max said about 1-2 hours for the wait so we left to grab lunch. We came back 2 hours later only to find out the car is still on it's way from Staten Island and the financing office is very busy so we were asked to wait for about another hour. It has been at least 5 hours since we first walked in this dealership and waiting for 4 hours to see a car arriving from Staten Island. We asked Max again why it is taking so long and his response was the car is being delivered with other vehicles so it won't arrive until the next day! But he said to reserve car for us, we need to put a deposit for car we haven't even seen. His manager first asked for $1000 security deposit but noticed our reluctance and dropped it to $200. His reason for security deposit is that the car we specifically wanted is being purchased from another dealership so he needed a deposit to prove that there is purchaser for that vehicle. We finally spoke with the finance office and suddenly the car price went up $1000 because they said the $1000 Hyundai cash rebate needs to be added to the price we agreed with the salesman. The rebate needed to be taxed with the car price and the $1000 rebate would show after taxes and fees. By this time, we just cancelled the whole purchase and walked out since they had us waiting so long and changing numbers on us! BUYERS BEWARE! DO YOUR HOMEWORK on the Hyundai offers, check the dealership inventory, check the financing paperwork line per line and MOST IMPORTANTLY FOLLOW YOUR INSTINCTS BY WALKING AWAY FROM PLAZA HYUNDAI!!! One last thing, during our long 4 hour wait for the car, we actually saw the new owner of the showroom car that we test drove and I'm almost sure he never saw the paint chipped on his new car SMFH! They wanted me to go back Are they insane? All you see in there is employees clowning around all over the place . I would not send my worse enemy to go there. I thank God I did not purchase my car there . if there was a rating for minus 100 this place would be winners for that rating More

They discussed with me a deal over the phone and asked me to meet the sales manager in person due to the employee incentives that they were going to offer me and the equity that I had for my lease trade in. Went there to meet the sales manager Jeane instead I met another sales manager Louie and it was a whole different ball game and not even close to what I was offered. I called back to talk to the sales rep Stephanie from one of their call centers and never heard back from them. Would not go back there again due to such poor and deceiving customer service. More

They give car dealerships a bad name - I will not even go into all the details of bait and switch that these folks pulled. When those sorts of things happen you almost kind of expect it fro I will not even go into all the details of bait and switch that these folks pulled. When those sorts of things happen you almost kind of expect it from a car dealership. What I cannot tolerate is outright theft. On day one, I come in to lease a car and after signing the lease agreement I pay the amount that is due by giving them my card information. The car is coming from another location so I had to return the next day in order to pick it up. This is where the bait and switch shenanigans and extra payments begin, but again, that is not the focus of this review. That day, I noticed that on the prior day, instead of charging me once, they charged my card twice for the amount that was due. I brought this to their attention and they acted as if they didn't know what I was talking about though it was right there in my account in black and white. They went on to say that it's probably some sort of glitch and that its a pending charge that won't actually go through, but that if for some reason it does go through they will refund it. You guessed it, the charge did go through and when I called them to refund this, suddenly the manager I need to speak to is never around. I email back and forth with the sales person with whom I was dealing and suddenly all she can say is that she told her boss about it and would get back to me. This was in April, it is now mid-July and I still have not heard anything from them. These people rely on it not being worth your time to come all the way down to their showroom and wait it out, waiting for the appropriate people to confront and everyone else always plays dumb like they don't know what is going on. This is not bending the truth or misleading advertising, this is THEFT pure and simple. More
A VERY costly experience. Last November I received a call from Plaxa Hyundai’s sales department. They told me that if I would return the Hyundai Sonata I was leasing, from them Last November I received a call from Plaxa Hyundai’s sales department. They told me that if I would return the Hyundai Sonata I was leasing, from them, that I could buy or lease a new car. Furthermore they assured me that there would be no cost to me even though there was 5 months left on the lease. Nothing could be further than the truth. Neithe salesman nor his manager ever went over the leased vehicle with me. In December when I got the invoice for the leased vehicle I called Hyundai Finance only to find out they were never informed the vehicle was surrendered to Plaza. Then, after another month I received another invoice from Hyundai Finance for late fees and damages they found on the leased vehicle. I told them that I had purchased damage coverage insurance when I initially leased the car and that I had to bring it to the attention of Plaza Hyundai Sales Department. I called and spoke with two different people who promised they would look into the issue. I never heard from them again and it cost me over $700.00. More
