My sister and I went into Plaza Hyundai on February 21 to look at the Elantra and the Tucson. We were approached by Frank, who was thrilled to let us know that we were his first customers on his first day ba look at the Elantra and the Tucson. We had told him that we would not be purchasing cars that day and we were treated no differently than if we were ready to buy. We went back on July 17, prepared to purchase cars. WHAT A GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!!! Frank remembered us and what cars we wanted. My sister took delivery of her Elantra a few days later. Frank went above and beyond to accommdate her with finding the car in the color she wanted. He made the whole experience a pleasure. My Tucson took a little longer to find. WOW!!! Frank and the managers really exceeded all expectations..They got my Tucson a few days later. I am now the proud owner of a Hyundai Tucson and love it. Everyone at Plaza Hyundai are pleasant, friendly and have made our experience a pleasant one. Frank never applied any pressure to buy and is always available to answer any questions or help with anything. We had a wonderful experience and have and will continue to recommend Plaza Hyundai to anyone looking to purchase a car. We feel like we are now part of a big happy family. More

My husband went to Plaza Automall and Tranasia spent several hours explaining all our options. The next day I went with him to lease an Elantra and we decided to buy a Sonata. Upon my visit to Plaza Hyundai to find a new car, I worked with a Salesman by the name of Ronald. He was very plesureable to work with. It was my first time at a Hyundai dealership and it was a pleasure leasing a car from Plaza Hyundai. It was guick and easy. I regret that it is impossible to give zeros in the ratings above. We called this dealership in order to confirm that they had a particular car which we intended to purchase that day. We spoke with Natasha, who confirmed that she was a car salesperson (which she was not), and she confirmed that her dealership had multiple cars of the type we wanted (which they did not). We told her that we would be traveling far to get to Plaza Hyundai (a $50 cab ride), but we were assured that we could drive away with our new car that day. She sent us a confirmation email with the wrong date and wrong name. Once we arrived at the dealership, we were introduced to Natasha, who turned out not to be a salesperson, and we were handed over to a salesperson (don't remember his name). This salesperson sat us down and in the course of a three minute conversation went from confirming that he had the car, to telling us that the car was in a distant, but accessible lot, to telling us that he couldn't get the car from that lot, to telling us that the cars we wanted had been sold. Every few seconds he tried a new lie to see what would stick, to a point where it seemed so deranged and pathological that we had no idea what he was trying to tell us. He would confirm that we had a car, but then quickly sneak in a word to the effect of changing what car we were talking about. It became clear to us that we had been lied to in nearly every imaginable way in order to get us into the dealership, in the apparent hope that we would buy a $20,000 cab ride home out of frustrated desperation. Do people do that?? The general manager then took over because we were obviously furious, but he also told us that he could get us a car, negotiated a price with us, and then told us that he didn't actually have the car which he had just said we could drive away with while he was trying to get us to sign purchase papers. When we confronted the manager about this dishonesty at his dealership, he told us that every car dealership lies--too bad. On a more positive note, while we waited an hour for our $70 cab ride home (going further than we came from), Lester (a sales associate) waited with us. He was very friendly and seemed to sympathize with the situation his employer had put us in. I still haven't figured out why Hyundai jerked us around like this. We came in to buy a certain car, we certainly weren't going to buy the wrong car just to get home. Does anybody? Do NOT consider going to this place, it is the slimiest, most dishonest establishment of any kind that we have ever encountered. Not all car dealerships are like this; we found a dealership that was great. Nearly everyone at Plaza Hyundai should be in jail. More

Plaza Automall has a great reputation for dealing with the customer and I held it to that as soon as I walked in the door. I was greeted by a salesman named Steve who was able to effectively communicate w the customer and I held it to that as soon as I walked in the door. I was greeted by a salesman named Steve who was able to effectively communicate what the right car was for my budget and needs. Steve made a great impression when it came to discussing the price. I had a an easy time negotiating a good price that I knew was very reasonable for the car. I did decide to purchase the car under a 3 year lease, and even though my credit is not great I was still approved! I had bought a new Hyundai Santa Fe and I was excited to drive the car off the showroom! Then I was brought to purchase accessories and a warranty for my new car. The representative was very clear, helpful and willing to throw in a few free extras. I had shopped with other dealers like Bay Ridge but never recieved the level of service that I had experienced at Plaza. From walking in the door to picking up my car, Plaza made this a great experience. I would definately recommend this dealership for buying your next car and I'll be referring others here. More
