However, that was just the tip of the iceberg. As I eagerly signed the contract, I noticed a suspicious addition to my bill—an exorbitant $1100 Tire Warranty that I never agreed to. Outraged, I immediately rejected this deceitful tactic, expecting swift resolution. Instead, Plaza Honda resorted to a despicable manipulation. They promised to rectify the issue the following day, appealing to my desire to avoid the hassle of returning the car. Reluctantly, I trusted their word, only to discover later that it was a hollow promise woven with deception. What followed was an endless cycle of frustration and false reassurances. I made countless calls to Plaza Honda, desperately seeking updates on the promised tire warranty fix. Each time, they greeted me with empty words, assuring me that the problem was being addressed. However, as the weeks turned into months, their lies became increasingly transparent. Fed up with their deceit, I finally escalated my complaint to corporate Honda, hoping for a glimmer of integrity. In a desperate attempt to salvage the situation, Plaza Honda representatives made a promise they had no intention of keeping. They assured me that the issue would be rectified the very next day. Feeling torn between returning the car and giving them the benefit of the doubt, I reluctantly chose to trust them, hoping they would honor their word. In these 6 months I tried to contact the seller to see if they could help me with the warranty, since it is a new vehicle, but I could never communicate. Yesterday I decided to go to the PLAZA HONDA dealer in Brooklyn where I bought the vehicle, and I talked to the seller, Mr. Richard and he sent me to the body shop department. Mr. David received me and told me that I had to make an appointment for the edge that had to be corrected, and he referred me to the service area to verify the tire air error. When I got to the service area I was greeted by a man named Kevin who was super rude. He received me by preying on a cigarette and blowing smoke in my face. When I explained the situation, he told me that I had possibly broken one of the sensors because he saw the dirty tires. I explained that since I bought it, I always get that error and that I couldn't diagnose that they were broken without first doing the necessary revision, he told me that the vehicle had no warranty and that he had to pay for the problem. that he doesn't help me with this, and he told me shouting in Spanish, DO WHAT YOU WANT WITH YOUR VEHICLE, BUT YOU HAVE NO WARRANTY AND I'M NOT GOING TO REPAIR IT, AND YOU BETTER GET OUT OF HERE NOW. and he left . At that point I felt offended, mistreated and disenchanted with the HONDA brand since I don't understand how they can have people who are providing bad customer service... in my personal experience. Burned by past experiences, I went into the process of leasing a car expecting nothing but pain, horrible customer service and overbearing sales reps that are very hard to talk to. I emerged a few days later surprised at how pleasant and pain-free the process was thanks to Roevelle Gustave who helped me through every step of the journey. Apart from being very helpful in navigating the process and having deep knowledge of each step, his communication style was not overbearing and very to the point which was a breath of fresh air compared to the other places I spoke to. Long story short, Roevelle is awesome and I really enjoyed meeting him in person when I came in to pick up my leased Honda Civic. More
