Dealing over the internet I found Damon responsive. Picking up the truck experience I found to be disorganized and unaccountable. Dealership was filled with Friendly / Nice People! Every responsive. Even though we agreed on price, completed credit app and had appointment days before arriving, I waited 3.5 hours. Not 1 person went over truck with me, basically gave me keys and said thanks for your business and to boot I was told by Damon rate would be 3.25%, when I first entered finance department I was quoted 5.85% and when I mentioned conversation with Damon, Michael went and asked Damon about it and came back to me and said "Damon Said He Never Quoted you Any Rate", 100% calling me a lier ! Bottom line, I bought a truck I like at a fair price, but professionally not the best experience. More

The sales department and Scott did great, the service department is not. When the truck was serviced before I bought it, they never tightened the oil filter. Sales and administrative personnel are excellent, as was lady doing the contract paperwork. Vehicle is very nice. Salesman was excellent, albeit very busy. However, I was extremely disappointed with finan lady doing the contract paperwork. Vehicle is very nice. Salesman was excellent, albeit very busy. However, I was extremely disappointed with financing. I was informed the finance rate was near or equal to local credit union rates for my term and down payment. I did not check them but knew that with my 844 credit rating and paying a down payment of approximately 62% of the vehicle purchase would lead to a low interest rate. Not true. Initially the contract was for 7.99%, then was called back to redo the contract for a "better rate" of 6.16%. Up to that point, I honestly had not looked at the rate, poorly assuming the "credit union" rate was applied. According to Bankrate the rate of 3.24% is national average figure for my credit rating and local credit unions are within that ballpark figure. According to Wallethub states banks like Bank of America, PNC and Wells Fargo are well below 6.16%. As are most other financial institutions I reviewd based upon my credit rating and amount put up front. I note on the Plaza website today their loan calculator inserts a default 4.9% rate on new vehicles as example. Recommend they change it to 6.16% or higher as the default figure.. Therefore, I consider my rate a ripoff. My fault for not getting preapproval at one of the aforementioned banks. But, I have the option of paying it off instead of the high interest amounts, an option which I intend to exercise later this year. However, that option should not have been necessary based upon my credit status. I rated Mr. Van Patten in the Finance Department one star because of this, plus never actually met the individual while he sat in his closed door dark room. Finally, rebates posted on the website listing totaled about $7500 with conditional rebates of $500 military (which I qualified for) and $750 for non-prime retail. My total was $5750. Does not compute. More
