Very welcoming and fair, friendly staff and makes you feel comfortable the entire time of purchase. Overly accommodating and clean facility. I was also offered a ride to and from the local Hicksville tra feel comfortable the entire time of purchase. Overly accommodating and clean facility. I also very much enjoyed the gentleman who went over the car with me one last time before leaving the lot--older gentleman with a beard--he was very knowledgeable in an older model car. We had gone to another dealership and didn't like the way we were treated so off we went to Platinum Volkswagen in Hicksville. Within moments of entering, we were warmly welcomed and patiently listened to as we explained our needs. We were then paired up with DOC and this is where the ordinary became the extraordinary. DOC is an amazing man, I couldn't believe he was a car salesman ... Doc actually cares genuinely about people (and animals) and you are not just a "dollar" sign to him. Doc gave us all the time we needed to decide, he answered a gazillion questions with a great sense of humor. John bought the Golf TDI on that day (saturday) and we picked it up on wednesday. Totally a stress free, pleasurable, professional experience from start to finish. And everyone in that dealership was friendly and helpful !!! Such a lovely change from the otherwise "money" hungry "will tell you anything you want to hear to get a sale" world. THANK YOU DOC AND EVERYONE AT PLATINUM VOLKSWAGEN IN HICKSVILLE:) More

A few weeks ago, I decided I wanted to trade in my 2006 Jetta for a newer one and just had to have a red one. Absolutely everyone I dealt with at the dealership was professional, friendly, courteous and extremely knowledgeable about their product. I bought a used Passat wagon from a good friend who was leaving for Germany and had trouble transferring the CPO warranty from his name to mine and was dealing with VW of America tryng to straighten it out leaving for Germany and had trouble transferring the CPO warranty from his name to mine and was dealing with VW of America tryng to straighten it out. I called Platinum VW and was transferred to Joanne Marsala who grabbed the bull by the horns and helped me straighten out the situation in a very professional manner. I then brought in the car, where they repaired, inspected, and returned to me my car in A-1 condition. Thank you Platinum VW and Joanne. David Quintero, and the whole environment at Platium VW, is a pleasurable expeience. We had been looking for Per-owned VW Golf/Rabbit from dealers and private sellers in the past weeks until we walked into Platinum VW sales center. We went there to see a CPO VW Rabbit listed on their web dealers and private sellers in the past weeks until we walked into Platinum VW sales center. We went there to see a CPO VW Rabbit listed on their website and Juan Caguiat was our sales Consultant who showed us the car and went trough the whole purchasing process with us. Juan is very friendly and pleasant to work with. We didn't feel any pressure from him pushing us to buy the car, but instead he listened to our needs and helped us to work on our budget. David Quintero, the General Sales Manager, was the one we negotiated the price with. He is also very friendly and, most of all, he is reasonable to give room to negotiate and he actually gave us a very good deal! So, it turned out we decided to buy the car the same day after we saw the car and we went next day to drive the white Rabbit home. It's a pre-owned car, but the condition is great, and plus it comes with a full 2-year/24K warranty from VW. (we purchased an extra 6-year warranty, as Robert, the finance manager, gave us a good deal). Also, when we picked up the car, we met Jim who gave us a thorough walkthrough of car, which made us feel so great that the people worked there really cared about their customers. In short, we're very pleased to recommend Platinum VW to you guys who are having trouble to find a decent car. It is a trustworthy dealer! More

Top notch dealership! My daughter was treated professionally by Joe Riccobene. He spent time with her and went over everything she wanted to know about the Jetta and offered his time when she ne professionally by Joe Riccobene. He spent time with her and went over everything she wanted to know about the Jetta and offered his time when she needed to come back with my husband. Other dealerships were rude to my daughter, not giving her any assistance and told her that they needed to "make money" and just tossed her the keys to test drive and walked away. Would be back in a heartbeat! More
