I traded in my 2009 Jetta before the lease was up and was worried that the price would be too high. Ron worked hard to get me a great, affordable price. It was an unexpectedly quick process and I was able to pick my new car up just a week later. Before I stepped into Platinum Volkswagen, I was worried that I would have to go to numerous dealerships to find he best deal. My experience at Platinum was unbelievably great. In fact, it was so good that I wanted to commend the dealership as soon as I got home (I have only had the new car for 2 hours now). From the moment I inquired about a particular model via email right up through the actual signing of the paperwork, every step of the way my contact there (Damian Lopez) was on top of it. The model I was looking for was VERY tough to find but Damian was able to get me every possible option/scenario available to locate the vehicle I wanted. In the end, I went with the one that they had right there in inventory but he thoroughly offered to get me the one I wanted. His honesty and straightforward personality was obvious from the start. Yup, an honest car guy! They exist (here)! The whole way through, he was up front and easy...VERY easy to work with. He even returned every single one of my emails within an hour or two (yes, even when I'd email him 4+ times a day). I know this seems overly gushing with praise, but I cannot even begin to tell you how my whole experience with them pretty much shattered the stereotypically agonizing and stressful new car buying experience. In fact, the ONLY stress I encountered was my own doing (I kept expecting something to happen but nothing bad ever did!). The last new car I purchased was a Toyota in Brooklyn and THAT was agonizing and the people I dealt with were absolutely rude and deceptive. On the other hand EVERYone at Platinum, from (Jim?) the man who showed me how the car worked through to Rob the Finance Manager...EVERYone was nice, efficient and honest. I could go on, but I think you get it. If I had to buy another car I would hands-down buy from these guys. More
I must have called ten dealerships looking for the car I thought I wanted. When I got Damian Lopez of Platinum VW on the phone - the first thing I said to him was "I'm having such a hard time finding an thought I wanted. When I got Damian Lopez of Platinum VW on the phone - the first thing I said to him was "I'm having such a hard time finding anyone who wants to take my money!" He was the first salesperson I spoke with that leveled with my about why I couldn't find the car I wanted without waiting for five months on a special order. He was also the first person I spoke to that got me to think about a different car than the one I had my eye on. As it turns out, the car I did purchase is far better for me than the one I wanted to buy. In short, I spent the same amount of money I would have spent on a car that fits 100% of my family's needs, as opposed to about 25% had I special ordered and waited for the other car. I'd say that's a knowledgeable salesperson who had my best interests as his goal – I'd also say that this was a fantastic experience because of it. Further, the dealership's finance department went above and beyond, working to get us the best financing possible, and even stayed open late in order to facilitate delivery of our new car to us after-hours. In short, from the first phone call until we drove our new car off the lot, the experience was exceptional. As I told our salesperson after the deal had been inked, "I've had a harder time buying gum at a convenience store than I did buying this car." I'm a customer for life. More

I went to Platinum VW for my service because I was tired of going out of my way to my usual dealer. The customer service was exceptional. They were able to accomidate me immediately despite me having no prior business or appointment. After a routine inspection and some minor recall adjustments my car is running better than ever. I was expecting (since I hadn't gotten my car serviced in some time) that I would have a pretty heafty bill. That was not the case, the price I got was way under what I expected! The customer service rep informed me that I will be needing new tires soon. I am very satisfied with Plantium and will be purchasing four new tires from them in future as well as any future automobile purchases. I highly recommend them!! They are promt, extremely helpful, and friendly!! More
I went to several dealerships and was very frustrated and annoyed. I finally ended up at Platinum Volkswagon on 10/13/11 after calling and speaking to Damian. Damian immediately sensed my frustration and calmed me down (VERY HARD). I have a very difficult type A personality and I am anxious by nature. I prefer straight talk and straight answers. THIS is what I got at Platinum Volkswagon. Never did I feel pressured, it was more of a conversation about my wants and needs in terms of a car. EVERYONE was friendly warm and inviting. I actually enjoyed my car shopping. Damian knew the particular car I was interested in well and was able to answer all my questions. He never showed frustration and was VERY patient. I settled the deal and was very happy. EVERYTHING was fair. When I came to get my car he was still there making sure everything was fine. Even Bob was really patient and made sure I understood how to work the radio, bluetooth, ect. VERY nice guy. I can't tell you how pleased I am. I would recommend this dealership to everyone.
