This company had terrible customer service in showing me the cosmetic damages done to a vehicle I purchased. The car fax said minor but after buying the SUV I noticed a cheap paint repair, also the trunk ha the cosmetic damages done to a vehicle I purchased. The car fax said minor but after buying the SUV I noticed a cheap paint repair, also the trunk has a leak when it rains and the manager Richard doesn’t even want to help fix the issue. I feel I was taken advantage of being a woman making a vehicle purchase. More
BEWARE of this dealer. Do not understand how people let themselves get con’ed. They are rip offs. They only care about the money. Their cars are auction buy offs. They are also known to not pay Auto carrie themselves get con’ed. They are rip offs. They only care about the money. Their cars are auction buy offs. They are also known to not pay Auto carriers they use to get vehicles to them. Review for Platinum Used Cars located at 6760 Alpharetta Hwy, Atlanta GA 30004 is the worst dealership I have ever dealt with thus far. I bought a 2014 BMW 428I on June 18, 2021. Before I bought the vehicle Hwy, Atlanta GA 30004 is the worst dealership I have ever dealt with thus far. I bought a 2014 BMW 428I on June 18, 2021. Before I bought the vehicle online I specifically asked if there were any issue with the vehicle that I should know about. I was assured there was nothing wrong with the vehicle. Upon receiving the vehicle, I notice the middle roof trim was missing on both side of the vehicle. Cost to replace $1977.00. When I got inside the vehicle the CIC on board computer read no signal. Cost to replace $3727.00. I sent the certified check overnight via FEDEX at a cost of $61.00. On June 18,2021 I received a called from the Sales Manager Trotter who said I must also pay a deposit even though I sent the check earlier that day. He insisted I send it or they would sell the vehicle. I complied and sent a payment with my credit card. I have had the car in my possession for approximately 2 weeks. I called Trotter 3 times and sent 3 emails regarding the issues with the vehicle to no avail. He did not respond to either one of my phone calls and none of my emails either. I have called the Accounts payable department regarding my $500.00 deposit I was forced to give twice. To date I have not received my deposit refund. Buyer Beware of This Company. To add insult to injury the check engine light came on yesterday. Wow just Wow. More
I would give them a zero if I could. We bought a car from them. Sold it the following year and have been trying to get a refund on our warranty for 4 mos. All they have to do is fill out paperwork and from them. Sold it the following year and have been trying to get a refund on our warranty for 4 mos. All they have to do is fill out paperwork and send it to the insurance co. We have contacted the ins co and they have not rec'd the paperwork. We have called and called and called. We have filed a BBB complaint. I am now hiring an attorney. They are a RIP OFF!!! More
Long story short, our purchase with them went so badly (Trotters lied about the condition of open recalls, they botched the financing and forgot to pay off our trade in vehicle, and 2 days after purchase (Trotters lied about the condition of open recalls, they botched the financing and forgot to pay off our trade in vehicle, and 2 days after purchase starting having significant mechanical issues) that we had to unwind the whole deal. However, since they signed the “unwinding contract”: - they have not canceled the title registration (meaning it’s still going out in our name) - they have not paid off our financing with Capital One (we just had to make a payment on a truck that hasn’t been in our possession in nearly a month) - they have not been willing to reimburse us for our Ad Valorum tax (TAVT) even though since we signed the contract the tag office has made it clear that Platinum is the one who needs to reimburse us (Platinum had assured us that we could just take our tags to the tag office and that they would refund us immediately) - they have not answered any phone calls from us in two weeks Despite our best efforts, we ended up in THE nightmare scenario everyone wants to avoid. Our two biggest mistakes we made were 1) trusting them at their word and 2) purchasing the vehicle from them. As a result, we are in worse shape than before we bought from them! More
Beware! We had an awful experience with this dealership - to the point that we had to unwind the deal - and even then they haven't fulfilled their end and paid off the financing/canceled the title on the veh to the point that we had to unwind the deal - and even then they haven't fulfilled their end and paid off the financing/canceled the title on the vehicle that we had purchased from them, which means we have had to make car payments on a car that's not been in our possession for 3 weeks, and they won't respond to ANY phone calls!
