Valentine’s Day last year, I was on my way from Durant to Lewisville to pick up a used Tacoma that I had made a deal on over the Internet. Just before I got to Denison, they called and said they wouldn’t ac Lewisville to pick up a used Tacoma that I had made a deal on over the Internet. Just before I got to Denison, they called and said they wouldn’t accept a draft from my credit union because I was from Oklahoma. I was in the car business for 20 years so I knew what they were doing. They were planning to sell the truck cheap and make it up in the finance department. I told them to forget it and pulled into Classic to see what they had. Ted Lynn met me as I got out of my car and said they only had one Tacoma 4x4. I drove it, he gave me a price and I bought it. No hassle or haggle. The finance department didn’t pressure me when I told them I had already arranged financing, they readily took my drafting instructions. I was very happy with the deal. To this day, over 1 year later, I am still seeing supposed sale prices on the same truck that with 15,000 more miles which other dealers are asking up to $3000 more than I paid a year ago with no price negotiation what so ever. I tell everyone “ what Eric says in the commercials is true”. Unbelievable, but true. I love my truck. More
