I am a loyal nissan owner/ buyer. I've always been extremely satisfied with both the vehicles I've purchased and the service provided by the staff. That changed with this last purchase. After signing extremely satisfied with both the vehicles I've purchased and the service provided by the staff. That changed with this last purchase. After signing my deal and driving away happy, i was contacted a week later only to be told that i had to come in and sign a new contract with different APR and higher monthly payments. I returned with full intent on returning the car, but after some persistence on their part and my sales guy using his "status" to bring the payments back to my original deal, i decided to proceed with the deal. My APR went up 2 points but was told THAT WAS THE ONLY THING that was changing. During the signing of my new contracts. I was focused on listening to payment amounts and APR so when the finance guy went over my first payment due date, it didn't really click. I was originally given 3 months of no payments. That went out the window. It wasn't until later that i recalled our conversation and checked the contract. It's on me for not listening and noticing, but they definitely pulled a fast one on me. Finance guy went as far as distracting me with hockey talk (i was wearing a Golden Knights t-shirt). This experience has left a very bad taste in my mouth. I was so excited about my new vehicle and that was eclipsed by this new contract and the shady change in my first due date. Had they told me about it and said that was to make up the difference in monthly payment amount... cool... but to snake it in their, was very dishonest. I called my sales guy and told him about the mistake and he told me, "oh i know what he did (the finance guy). Give me until tomorrow, I'll get it fixed for you. Ima hook you up". After multiple texts the next day, he finally called me and said, "look man, i did this and that for you, i can't do the 90 days no payments". He said he did "this and that" for me... you mean honor our original contract?? Lucky me! My wife and I are done buying from Nissan. They have sold 7 cars to us and family. No issues ever before, but it only took 1 incident of dishonesty to lose us as customers forever. More
