I was unimpressed with the service. Unlike dealerships I’ve been to in this past, this one did not explain what they were doing to my car and left me in the waiting room for nearly 3 hours with no update. 10/19/2020 I brought my Nissan Frontier in because the engine light when on. Employee that helped me was professional and informative. I mentioned I received a mailer from Nissan recommending 90,000 mil engine light when on. Employee that helped me was professional and informative. I mentioned I received a mailer from Nissan recommending 90,000 miles service and I ask about the 15% off on any service. I was told I'd be taken care of. I left my truck and about an hour later I received a call. The guy helping me said that a repair would be needed. The repair and service maintenance would cost $2,800. It was explained that the repair needs happen as a safety precaution especially if I plan to travel and the service maintenance is well over due. I agreed to the repair and service needed. I picked up my truck and notice that there's still a light on the dashboard, not the engine light but another light. I called guy and I was told to bring my truck in so I did and the technician said that it's nothing concerning and I would be safe to drive. I also asked the guy why I didn't receive the 15% off and was told that the parts and service didn't qualify. That was a bit concerning that I wasn't honored the discount at all. The mailer did say savings on any service. I should have gotten some sort of discount. I spent nearly $2,800. What's the purpose of the mailer I got that came from Planet Nissan when it cannot be honored. When you inspect you inspect... the other light was obvious and who am I to know it's not related to the check engine light. I was not completely satisfied. I don't feel safe driving my truck knowing that there are still problems. I plan to go to a different dealership in the future for any service. Consider reporting a complaint through the BBB. Thanks!
