Service was fast and thorough and service rep was friendly and very helpful. When I brought the car in for service I was under the impression that it could be a very difficult and expensive job, but friendly and very helpful. Carmen was very helpful in getting my car repaired at a fair and reasonable price. Althought i couldn't afford to complete all the work that was needed he advised me on how and what should be done first so fair and reasonable price. I'm giving the top rating of great for Planet Honda almost solely because of the outstanding service and honest advice I've received from my service advisor Michael Goworek. I bought my first brand new almost solely because of the outstanding service and honest advice I've received from my service advisor Michael Goworek. I bought my first brand new car from Planet Honda in 1998 and did so again just a few years later. I live far from Planet Honda and there are other Honda dealerships and many choices for vehicle service in my area. The trust I have for Michael has brought me out to planet Honda for over a decade for advice and service on 3 different Honda vehicles I've owned. Since being laid off from full time work and hurting for income, Mike has honestly kept me informed on what services I can get away with and for how much time. He also lets me know which services are essential that I should have done as the ramifications of skipping or putting off such service would hurt my wallet more down the road. Normally I wouldn't take someones word for it. I know some auto mechanics and have checked Mike's suggestions and advice with them over the years. Everything has been sound practical advice so it's a non issue now. I have total trust in this man to be bluntly honest with me about all things relating to vehicle maintenance. My car was hit by an uninsured driver and I had it repaired of course at Planet Honda through my insurance company, NJM. The work performed there by the mechanics and body shop is top notch. The service departments employees have been helpful and friendly to myself and everyone I've brought to Planet Honda as well. The woman I pay service fees to even asks how my girlfriend is doing when she isn't with me. Having service done at a dealership is generally more expensive than having it done at a local shop, but the peace of mind and top notch service has spoiled me. You can't put a price on trust and I recommend everyone I know who is looking to buy a Honda in particular to buy theirs at Planet Honda in Union, NJ. Every time I'm at Planet Honda Mike seems extremely busy with calls, customers, paperwork, etc. Somehow he still manages to never keep me waiting and always gives me his undivided attention. I even had a chat with his manager because you just don't get service like that these days anywhere. I used to buy lunch for a mechanic, or tip them for a job well done, but since hitting hard times, I had to find a way to show my gratitude for the people at Planet Honda putting my mind at ease regarding my car. So these are the reasons why I rate this place the best place to buy a car, receive maintenance, get honest advice and friendly service. -James More

THEY ARE RUDE AND INCONSIDERATE PEOPLE. THEY DO NOT LISTEN TO YOUR PROBLEM ABOUT YOUR CAR. THEY THINK THEY KNOW EVERYTHING AND AT THE END THEY SCREWED UP MY CAR. FIRST TIME VISIT WASN'T SO BAD, SECOND LISTEN TO YOUR PROBLEM ABOUT YOUR CAR. THEY THINK THEY KNOW EVERYTHING AND AT THE END THEY SCREWED UP MY CAR. I have been looking out for Honda Odyssey Touring Elite 2011 model & after thorough research have been talking to 3 dealers over the Internet of which Planet Honda was one. I received aggressive pricing fr 2011 model & after thorough research have been talking to 3 dealers over the Internet of which Planet Honda was one. I received aggressive pricing from all 3 but Based on the emails exchanged with Alessandra & the follow up / commitetent offered by Planet Honda in their ability to match or beat any competitors pricing I decided to visit them yesterday as they told me that they would have the model requested available soon. Alessandra promised that her General Sales Manager would be able to beat & offer me the required pricing. But when I visited them Alex got me hooked on to one of their Sr Sales person Frank Talarico instead of her General Manager & she siad that he would be able to help with everything I needed. Frank helped us see the new Odyssey 2011 model & expalined the details well. And then when we sat down for pricing negotiation the 1st thing they said was that they cannot offer anything lower then the MSRP. Then I showed them the internet pricing that was offered by them which was $2000 lesser then MSRP & the other dealers internet pricing which was almost 3000$ less then MSRP. Aftyer evaluating both they said that they could not match the competitors pricing but somehow they agreed to match the offer made by them over the internet which was still $1000 higher than the quote given by competition. So the written claim put forth by Planet Honda in their email correspondence to self stating that they can beat or match any competitors pricing is completely false. They also had claimed that after buying a car from Planet Honda if we get a better offer from another dealer then they would refuund double the difference in Cash which I now doubt because if they cannot meet their 1st clainm how would they stick to their 2nd claim. And I had to walk out of the dealership yesterday & wasa waste of time visitng them. I really appreciate the follow up made by Alessandra as she has been consistent & honest in her approach but apparently Planet Honda could not keep up to the commitent offered by them & failed their Internet sales personnel. Few days back my 08 Accord got damaged it's left fender and Rocker Panel. The damages were modest had a dents in Fender and some part of the rocker panel and it looked like it is repairable.I wanted get th and Rocker Panel. Went to a few Honda Dealers to get quotes/ideas about fixing this damage. Most of the dealers suggested me to get the parts replaced. They said there is no option to repair it. That is the easiest way to do because they don't have to worry about dent removal and also costs much more as parts needed to be replaced and repainted. But I was insisting on to repair the damage rather than throwing away parts and getting it replaced. Planet Honda given me a good quote and they said it can be repaired at their facility and no need to get the parts replaced. Of course the quote was much competitive than other dealers and I decided to get the work done by them. After two days of work they repaired the parts and repainted the damage area. They did a good work out of it. I would recommend their body shop to other people. More
My recent experience with this Honda Dealership's Service Department was a pleasant one. They were very attentive and the work was top quality. They were to the point, had a look into the problem I was expalining, and had it fixed the same day (they must have a good stockpile of parts!). They are not expensive, they are relatively quick, and the waiting area is actually very clean and nice. I will definitely be going back here. More
I've had my 99 accord for about 3 years, and before I owned it my aunt brought it new from Planet Honda. I think Planet Honda's service is 2 thumbs up and will recommend them to anyone. The enviornment is friendly and you'll get to know people and they'll get to know you on more than just a drop off your car and go basis.The show room, the waiting room, and childrens waiting room is nice and clean. I like this dealer, like the peole who work here, like there work, and will continue to come until I no longer own a Honda! More
