Thank you for such amazing experience!! I brought my vehicle for service and the experience was amazing, service advisor was so professional & Kind. Repaired damage they caused My Honda was damaged by a planet honda tech during a routine airbag recall. A manager Mathew Papol Immediately took the blame and said he would do whatever it takes to make it right. They special ordered the interior parts and made the appointment set up easy. I am extremely particular about my Honda. And Matt purposely placed me with the most OCD tech at planet Honda as a courtesy. Everything came out great and I am actually happy that it did happen as my interior looks better now. I want to recommend Matt to receive some type of recognition or compensation for this as I have never seen any manager @ a car dealer be as accommodating as they are usually very rude and cocky More

Long wait and required maintenance ignored First the good, the sway bar work that was recommended during inspection was done properly and I noticed the difference. Service advisor was friendly and I saw him right away. The bad: 1. Long wait time of 3 hours including customary 1hr 45 mins for a basic oil change and inspection. Disappointed I was not informed of this when making the appointment. and that the appt. was to see an advisor. 2. Maintenance minder codes recommended spark plug replacement, and valve check clearance . The advisor implied or might have misspoke that the tech pulled and checked the plugs. However there is no visible evidence it was done and honestly it didn't make sense to do that when replacement is recommended. Would have appreciated just having it replaced but I didn't want to wait any longer. No explanation given on valve clearances. 3. I called to give the shop another chance and Liz (?) took my call in a professional way and left a message for a call back from service manager early next morning. Three weeks later and no call. I cannot recommend this shop. More
Honda crv. Repair 2010 Honda CR-V 40,300 miles 3/13/18-brought my car in for an airbag recall. Requested a multi point inspection as well. Multipoint inspection dete 2010 Honda CR-V 40,300 miles 3/13/18-brought my car in for an airbag recall. Requested a multi point inspection as well. Multipoint inspection determined that the external drive belt needed to be replaced and everything else was good. Authorized the replacement. Picked up the vehicle, the service Rep went over the repairs and gave me a copy of the inspection report that indicated everything was good. 4/08/18- went out with family to Watchung commons parked the car came back and the car would not start. Called AAA, the mechanic could not jump the battery. After testing the battery he told me the battery was completely dead and could not be jumped. I either have him replace the battery or have the car towed. It was a Sunday afternoon so I had no choice but to purchase the battery ($141.81) from the AAA mechanic. Why was this not discovered during the Multipoint inspection less that a month ago? 4/13/28- brought the car in again because my wife informed me that the maintenance minder light and the oil light came on. Sevice Rep said they would look at it and get back to us. The service rep called back and said he would refer the problem to his master mechanic. The master mechanic informed the service rep that the engine would have to be taken apart due to the major work that had to be done. The sevice rep contacted me and said that this was a problem Honda had with this engine and the work was not under warranty and it would cost approx $2500. I questioned again why this was not discovered during the Multipoint inspection. The service rep spoke to his manager and toldd me the cost would be an 75/25 split(I cover the 25%). I agreed to the terms(I felt I had no other choice) and the work was performed. This is my reason for my one star rating. Could I recommend planet Honda, I don't know. Will I continue to bring my vehicle there, yes because of the extensive work. Would I buy another Honda, yes because I'm impressed with the 2018 CR-V. Would I buy it from planet, I don't know. More
