My experience was far from the high pressure sales pitch that i both dreaded and anticipated. Art graciously elicited my criteria of the car i was looking for and presented me with the appropriate options and payment plans. I was also given a fair price for my trade-in car. I can say without reservation that my experience buying my 2008 Honda Pilot was quite an enjoyable one, primarily made so by the expertise of my sales rep Art. I highly reccommend Planet Honda....but when you arrive ask for Art Norvell. More
We had done a great deal of research and new the exact car we wanted (2008 Odyssey w/ RES) prior to scheduling an appointment with Danny Boyle at Planet Honda. Upon arrival, the car was there awaiting our inspection. Danny was able to answer all of our questions quickly and efficiently. Upon deciding to enter negotiations to purchase the car, talks were smooth without undue pressure. We were very satisfied with our trade in and final purchase price. Soon after arriving home, my wife pointed out that there was an unusual sound coming from the rear of the car (I was, of course, oblivious). We promptly scheduled an appointment with the body shop at Planet Honda and they were able to replace the right rear Hub Bearing on the same day while supplying a rental vehicle while the work was being done! Problem solved! This was covered under the certified warranty and the process was seemless. All-in-all, a great experience and would highly recommend Danny Boyle at Planet Honda to anyone looking to buy a certified used car. More

The personnel To Whom It May Concern: I have had a business relationship with Planet Honda for 20 years. I purchased all of my Hondas with them. The personnel in all of the departments from Maintenance Service, Sales, Finance, Parts and the Body Shop are customer service focused and helpful. I have never had an issue where they were more than willing to help me resolve it in a fair and reasonable manner. It has been a pleasure dealing with them over the last twenty years. In addition, I have always taken my vehicle back to them for the maintenance service. Recently, my Honda Accord V6 was totaled in an accident and I was devastated to say the least. Also, Paul at the Body Shop gave me an estimate to fix the Accord. However, after speaking to Mike in maintenance he suggested that I opt for a new vehicle and suggested the Honda Care plan as a supplement since I drive so many miles. I worked directly with Art Norvell to get into another vehicle once the car was totaled. Art was very patient and helpful throughout the entire ordeal because dealing with the insurance company was a challenge. Art would follow-up with me to make sure that he stayed informed about my situation and when I would be able to purchase in addition to making sure that I got the type of vehicle I wanted. This was important to me because of my lifestyle change and because I wanted to switch from a sedan to a truck. Mark worked in conjunction with Art to make sure my new CRV was ordered with all of the features I wanted on it. Art made sure the vehicle was ready and waiting for me when I came into the dealership to complete the transaction. It took approximately 35 days for me to get everything straightened out with the insurance company so I was definitely ready to get out of the rental car and have my own vehicle again. Art even took care of returning the rental car for me. Also, when I went to the Finance area I was given a great deal on the maintenance plan which was very important because I drive a lot of miles. I would definitely recommend Planet Honda to any consumer. They are a great group of people to work with as an organization. Sincerely, Tynetta Magruder 20 Year Honda Owner More
We have taken a CRV and a Civic-Hybrid from Planet Honda within a month. Our first CRV dealing was with Mr.Simone Pace and Nelson. I should really apperciate the patience Simone has. He answered all our within a month. Our first CRV dealing was with Mr.Simone Pace and Nelson. I should really apperciate the patience Simone has. He answered all our questions and closed the deal to our full satisfaction. We took 10 hours to finalize the deal on CRV, I would like to give my heart felt thanks for the service Simone had done. When I came to know, one of my friend planning to buy Toyota Prius, I recomonded him to visit Planet Honda and have a chat wtih Simone, just to see if he is going to get any better deal, than Toyota Prius. Simone had worked his magic again, and my friend drove away with Honda Civic Hybrid. I would also like to thank Nelson, Frankie, Raz, and Victor who helped us in closing the deal and getting through financial formalities. More

I had found an internet price on Honda Motors web site that listed a certified 2009 for 30,500. I knew this was the best price by a fair margin and wanted to put a down payment on the vehicle. When I ca that listed a certified 2009 for 30,500. I knew this was the best price by a fair margin and wanted to put a down payment on the vehicle. When I called I spoke to their internet representative to ask their list price to compare and she told me it was 33600. When I told her of the price I found on the internet she said "Sure, no problem! We have to honor that so just bring a copy of that in." I had a relative go in to put a down payment on it and at first they did not want to honor the price. They then said they would sell the car at that price, but would add in the price of the certification which was $950. When I told them ok then I don't want it certified, they said it was already done and they can't undo it. By this point I was on the phone with Ray Meza who had let out the information that the vehicle's internet price was two weeks ago for Columbus weekend. If they were willing to sell the certified version of the car two weeks ago, and it's still advertised on Honda's website as certified, why was I to pay for the certification twice? Obviously they were trying to pad the price back up. They also charged dealer prep of $800 and a documentation fee of $400. I know it's perfectly legal for them to charge these fees but every car I've purchased previously (1 ford and 1 infinity) waived the prep fee as the car is always preped to go on the lot and a documentation fee of 100-150. What was I paying a doc fee for? Eric in finance had no clue when he was filling out the odometer statement that checking off the first box (I hereby certify that to the best of my knowledge the odometer reading reflects the amount of mileage IN EXCESS of its mechanical limits) meant that the odometer reading isn't actually the correct reading! He marked off this box while filling out the paperwork. I didn't catch this until right before I got my tags and his response was "It means that's the actual mileage." I paid $400 for an uneducated financial rep and sheisty used car staff. For me at this point the price of the car after all the bologna fees was still at least $500 less than its competitor. And they tried to charge me for window etching security for $300-400 stating they automatically etch EVERY car because of the area they are in; but wouldn't you know the car wasn't etched, I checked of course. Upon inspection of the car prior to signing, there were scratches and a poor wax job (part of prep fee) that I had asked Ray Meza to fix to which he replied "No problem." As I was finishing up the paperwork to sign I got to a disclosure statement that said the dealership owed me nothing. I had asked where the paperwork was to indicate the areas that needed attention as discussed with Meza. That is when I was approached by a supervisor Jesse that said the car is being sold as-is. So they waited until I finished 95% of the paperwork before telling me they again were being dishonerable by not honoring the saleman's agreement. I have put in several calls to Paul the manager of which have not been returned. It is VERY difficult to get anyone on the phone; even the secretary responsible for answering the phones rarely answered the phone. More

It was a very easy and fun experience, Shawn was very knowledgable about the car i was interested in, patient and very funny, I was surprised how fun it was buying my first CRV. On top of that i am very satisfied with my car. I never once felt pressured to buy, or add extra's it was all up to me. The finance team was great also. I will reccommend any person looking to buy a new or used Honda to go to Planet Honda. My husband and I were looking for a used Odyssey, and were impressed with the websites prices and selection. When we got there, we were given a "New Car" specialist, who seemed to be annoyed that we want were impressed with the websites prices and selection. When we got there, we were given a "New Car" specialist, who seemed to be annoyed that we wanted a used one. We gave him a list of the models we were interested in seeing with a list of our top 6 choices. Out of that list, only one that we were interested in was available, but first the salesman insisted on showing us an upgraded vehicle that we had already told him we weren't interested in. That car was dinged and scratched all over the place. The second car he showed us, which was on our list, was great, and we thought that it might actually be the car for us. However, we tried opening one of the power side doors, only to find out that the door did not close even with pulling it. The salesman tried to act like it was our fault that the door was broken. He told us that if we were interested in buying the car that he would have his department fix the car. We were still considering it at this point, until the negotiations started. We thought that since the car was already broken that they would be willing to work with us on the price. No dice. Our salesman told us that since they had already made their numbers for December well over, they didn't really need our business. They offered to take $500.00 off for the inconvenience of the door being broken, but that we would be responsible for the $695.00 Prep fee, which is essentially a really expensive car wash. THEN they were going to charge us a $1000.00 fee to certify the car, which means that once we signed the deal they would then make sure that the car was in good condition. I certainly am not comfortable buying a broken, used car that wasn't checked out by the dealership. Why would they bother to put a broken car out on the lot in the first place? I had heard from other people not to go there, but I like to see things for myself. In this case, they were right, and I will certainly let everyone know about my awful experience at this dealership.
