From the minute I walked into the dealership I was graciously greeted by reception, welcomed by owner Tim Ciasulli and introduced to his staff, Manager Gary Angus (who provided an overview and took ti graciously greeted by reception, welcomed by owner Tim Ciasulli and introduced to his staff, Manager Gary Angus (who provided an overview and took time to learn what I wanted) and the salesperson Stephen March who demonstrated unlimited patience as he accompanied me to test drive 3 different models! It had to be the coldest day of the year yet he trekked through the snow and moved dozens of snow covered cars to get to the vehicle model and color I ultimately wanted. Tim Ciasulli assured that I got the best possible price and took away the burden of terminating my existing lease. I highly recommend Planet Honda of Union, NJ and will be a "Ciasulli Planet Honda" fan for life! Send all your friends & relatives!!! More
My wife and I were searching for a CR-V. We had done some research and narrowed it down to about 5 Honda dealers. We also went through the Costco Car Buyer's Program who is pretty picky with their referred d research and narrowed it down to about 5 Honda dealers. We also went through the Costco Car Buyer's Program who is pretty picky with their referred dealers. Costco referred us to Planet Honda who was on our list. Since their was an intersection of references, we decided to call and make an appt. We first made phone contact with Baron Ringler who gave his speech about finding us the right car. We scheduled a time the next day to come in and look at cars. Once parked, we were immediately greeted by Alix Saintil a Sales Consultant. It was cold and still snowy outside but these guys were still out greeting! He brought us to the showroom where we met Baron. He told us Alix would be assisting us with the purchase. Gang Wang, one of the Sales Manager also greeted us on our way in. He was a very pleasant man that wanted to make sure we got what we wanted and were happy. Alix gave us some hot drinks and then narrowed down one of the CR-Vs on our list and we took it for a test drive. He was very knowledgeable and explained each and every feature of the car during the test drive. Mind you, we were not even in the negotiation stage yet but he did spend time showing us the car and other related items. He was very courteous and patient during the entire process. We were never rushed. Once we got back to the table it was time to talk about pricing. We got the modest Costco discount and initial pricing and options. We had some work to do there but in any car dealership, it's expected. We eventually worked things out with Alix and Gang Wang and began the buying process. We started the initial sales invoice and we quickly reviewed things. I could have worked harder to lower the price but the final numbers was within range of what I would accept so I agreed. While waiting for more paperwork to be hashed out Alix brought us some fruit. That was very nice of him. We then went through the finance manager and discussed some additional options for the car like maintenance and gap insurance. Please keep in mind that not all car dealers that lease automatically include gap insurance. This was the first one for me but we were able to negotiate a fair price. Once complete we were taken to the showroom again to wait for the car to be prepped. Everything looked fine and Alix and Gang bid us farewell. A few days later I did notice one of the exterior options I ordered was missing. I contacted Alix and he immediately set a date for me to get the option added. I was a little upset because it was missed on dealer prep but mistakes happen (I missed it too) and Alix called to check up on us and asked what he could to make things right and make us happy. Upon my visit to get things addressed, I got to see Gang again and his big smile and wave. For a large dealership you'd think once you leave you're forgotten. He still remembered me and immediately waved. They also offered me All-Season floor mats for my inconvenience! Pretty useful for this kind of winter! My initial impression of these kind of dealerships were fairly negative (volume based / popular car dealers). However Planet Honda really did their best to dispel that stereotype and rectify any issue I had. I don't expect to go through a car sales process hassle free because a few things in life really come easy. With this car purchase I got a chance to see if Planet Honda really stands behind it's sales and service and I can honestly say they do. Because of that I would recommend this dealer to anyone interested in looking at Hondas. Oh, did I say my wife and I absolutely love the CR-V? More

The sales consultant (Frankie Talarico) and sales manager (Mark Hernandez) recognized that I was flexible about make, model,year, features, etc., and willing to take a car off the lot. They also recognized that I was an educated buyer and they did not insist on add-on features that didn't interest me. The sales rep knowledge of the 2011 Odyssey was excellent.
