I went to Planet Honda to get a new car. I couldn't decide between a Pilot or a CR-V. Michael Hanna was very knowledgeable about both cars and after discussing my needs, I decided on the CR-V. I visited this dealership via the Bank of America website. I had financing through Bank of America. The price that was agreed upon for the civic was 14,780. When I got there they told that price quot website. I had financing through Bank of America. The price that was agreed upon for the civic was 14,780. When I got there they told that price quote had expired since I had taken more than 2 days to visit the dealership. They were correct so I said OK. The new price was 6,008 for the same car. I agreed. We agreed on everything including taxes, dmv fee, processing fee, tire tax and the total came to 18,135 dollars. Thats when Simone went to the "manager" (don't know who that is), he took 15 minutes to come back to me with an embarassed look on his face. Apparently his manager told him to start negotiations from SCRATCH and fixed the starting price at 17,500 + tax + dmv fee + processing fee + tire tax. I politely got up and walked out. In the end they are just like any other dealership out there that have no qualms in trying to aggravate you and ripping you off. Having an agreement with them before hand means nothing. Heck even having an agreement when sitting face to face with them means nothing. Its OK to visit this dealership, but always be prepared to walk out. I did, and I'm quite relieved for it. Shalitha and Simone themselves were very good to deal with. More

My dad and I were at Planet Honda yesterday. Believe it or not, we were in the dealership at 9 and left with a new CRV before 11. Frank T is the best sales rep there.
