I described to him what I need in a car and he helped me to make the best motor vehicle purchase I have ever made in my entire life. I have owned over 7 cars in my life and this has been the smoothest purchase I have and the most friendly service I have ever received. It's like baking a cake, Anthony baked the cake by putting everything together and recommending the right car to suit my need then Levi in the finance department put the icing on the cake by ensuring I got the best interest rate and recommending some very necessary 'add-ons' such as the remote start, that I glady accepted for the price. Overall, I am very happy with my BRAND NEW 2011 HONDA ACCORD EXL and the price I got it for! THANK YOU PLANET HONDA!!!! More
It was my first time ever at Planet Honda and I was unsure of whether or not I actually wanted a Honda or not. I am not usually much of a writer to make complaints or to give compliments, but my last experience with Planet Honda, and more so with their Senior Sales Consultant Francis Duah, have motivated me to take to give compliments, but my last experience with Planet Honda, and more so with their Senior Sales Consultant Francis Duah, have motivated me to take the time to do so. I first met Francis back in 2008, when I leased a new Honda CRV from him. I was pleased, even then, with the professionalism, knowledge and proficiency of this salesman. As my lease was coming to an end, I contacted Francis about the possibility of a new car from Planet Honda. Again, he rose to a very professional level, while always making me feel as though I had just contacted an old friend. The problem that we faced was that due to the tsunami that had occurred in Japan, the new 2012 models had been delayed in shipping. He kept in contact with me about the delivery of the new CRV and helped to extend my old lease with Honda Finance, so I did not have difficulties while awaiting the arrival of the new models. What could have been a very bad experience, was made right by the professionalism of Francis Duah, and the rest of his associates at the Planet Honda dealership. As I said, this is my second purchase from this dealership, and I am confident that upon the approach of my new lease end, I will be back having a conversation with not only a wonderful salesman, but with my friend, Francis Duah. But Steve changed it all by his outstanding treatment of my wife and me when we came in lookin for a new CRV. Steve knows his job very well ,he knows his product in and out and his demeanor is very catchy. His desire to give his best to the customer is unbelievable. Most of all he made our visit to Planet Honda an event to remember and made us wanting to visit the delership again. That's why I took a set of his business cards to distribute to my neighbors, relatives and friends. I have already distributed some to my friends at tne swimming pool that I go to every day and to my colleagues at work. Every morning now, when I wake up, I rush to my window to take a look at my Honda CRV in my driveway instead of the monster of th Jeep that we bought at the inefficient Autoland dealership and traded for the CRV. Of course I would not be doing my duty if I didn't mention the strong backup we got from your Manager, Mark Hernandez whose interest in our satisfaction was really outstanding. He was extremely unassuming and truly managerial. Sue, the Director of Service was another delight I was happy to deal with and thank you Kelsey and Marco Panetieri for doing an outstanding job in helping us leave Planet Honda with a lease agreement that was very satisfactory. Deceptive sales practices, bait & switchI called Planet Honda in Union, NJ this morning and spoke to Alexandra who quoted me a price for a 2012 Honda Civic LX with manual transmission which she said Planet Honda in Union, NJ this morning and spoke to Alexandra who quoted me a price for a 2012 Honda Civic LX with manual transmission which she said would be arriving within a week. I called back to confirm that the quote was for an LX and she confirmed that fact. Since we had a great buying experience at this dealership in 2006, my husband and I drove 25 miles with the intention of buying the car. When it was time to talk about payment we were told that we had to pay an additional $995 for an "appearance" package which only included rubber door guard strips and pin striping tape. We explained that the quoted price was what we were there for and that's the price that was quoted. After two attempts, the sales person said they will honor the quoted price without the additional $995 package. The sales person then had us wait at least 30 minutes while our trade-in was valued. When he returned to us we were informed that the "big boss" will not allow the $995 to be dropped from the sale. We got up to walk out and he spoke to the "big boss" again who denied the request. I then spoke to the "big boss" himself, Eddie Amorin, the general sales manager and explained that I am a repeat customer and how disappointed I was that this wasn't working out. He told me that he never OK'd dropping the $995 and when I asked if the sales person lied to me his reply was "You must have misunderstood." He then told me to GET OUT of the dealership and that he didn't care about wasting 2 hours of my time or the salesman's time. More
