My wife and I arrived at Planet Honda on Rt 22 at around 9 pm on a weekday. Fred helped us soon after our arrival and we took one of the new 2013 Accords (EX) for a short test drive behind the dealership. F 9 pm on a weekday. Fred helped us soon after our arrival and we took one of the new 2013 Accords (EX) for a short test drive behind the dealership. Fred also showed us an EX-L, but we decided to go for the EX. He was very helpful and polite--our only worry was how much we would end up paying monthly after financing the car. Fred could not really answer this before they ran a credit check, which required us to all but say yes to the purchase. Chigbo, the Sales Manager, then answered our questions about financing and I was reassured that the APR would not be something outrageous. I only wish this system was a little more transparent. Long story short, we left Planet Honda with our new Accord before midnight that very day thanks to Fred and Chigbo from sales, and George from finance. Being tired and inexperienced, we had agreed to an extended warranty after talking to the finance associate George. When I went back in two days to cancel it, I got to speak to George as well as his manager (who explained at length why I would want to keep the extended warranty), but did not press further when I insisted to cancel it, save for the GAP. All in all this is a very professional, and friendly dealership (especially the sales team) that runs like clockwork. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a painless buying experience. The only question I have in mind is the pricing (again, an issue of transparency), as I later realized that I was quoted the MSRP rather than the final price, which was about 1500 higher, which is supposed to include "documentation" and delivery fees. I'm pretty sure this is standard practice in most dealerships, however, so I should have expected this to be the case. More
