Went in to replace our gas gussler with a new Altima and hooked up with salesman Eugene. He was very informative without being pushy. We shopped around and they matched the best quote. We got to the dealership and informed Mo of what our needs were and were shown a fully loaded Pathfinder that he knew was completely out of our budget. He took us on a test drive, which of course we fell in love with. We were convinced that with rebates and my husband's auto work related discount we might be able to afford the vehicle. After showing us the fancy shmancy verison, he showed us the "Meh" version of the Pathfinder, which neither of us really were in love with. When it came to numbers, we told them what we could afford and they came back with about $200 over our budget requested. We said no, and it turned out NO rebates were available that we thought were advertised. When we realized we couldn't afford the SUV, we asked about the Altima and pricing and Mo basically told us "Nah, once you decide you want an SUV you really don't want to downgrade in class." We also don't want to have a vehicle repossessed that we couldn't afford. Basically we left this dealership with a sour taste and feeling like Mo only cared about making a commission of the fancy SUV and not about our needs or earning our loyalty as a customer. We ended up buying a great Mazda 6 and and had a 100% better service at a different dealership. More
