I purchased a used Mazda 5 from the dealership and was treated very well by the Sales Associate and the Sales Manager. Overall it was a pleasant buying experience. I will consider buying my next vehicle f treated very well by the Sales Associate and the Sales Manager. Overall it was a pleasant buying experience. I will consider buying my next vehicle from this dealership and would recommend it to my friends who are looking for a vehicle. The whole process took only 3 hours from start to finish (including financing) and they delivered the vehicle to my home that same evening. The finance department was outstanding too. They worked hard to get me the best rate and discussed various options that resulted in reducing the finance charges considerably. Thank you! More
Not to repeat what others have said- buying a car is not always fun - you have to road test, negoitiate with many if you choose to get the best deal for you. We finally came to terms andf I got a very good always fun - you have to road test, negoitiate with many if you choose to get the best deal for you. We finally came to terms andf I got a very good deal. The finance guys always get a bad wrap. You spend an enternity signing this and signing that and to think I wasted three years in grammer school learning to write good. (well lol) I an aguy I felt like I gave birth. This finance guy was very very good and even though I spent a lot of time with him he found a way to save me even more money with a lower I-rate and got a manintenance package as well. Dealers can be dealers and it is all based on ones perception. I had a good experience with this dealer. only you can make the experience best for you. Give them a try. Don't be eager to sign and know when to hold and know when to fold when the dealing is done. More
Stopped in at Pinnacle just to show my husband the new Juke, while we are on vacation. Cameron came out to help us, he told us everything and anything about the Juke. After speaking to him, I will be buy Juke, while we are on vacation. Cameron came out to help us, he told us everything and anything about the Juke. After speaking to him, I will be buying a Juke in the future, except in my homestate of PA. He was very knowledgeable about Nissan and all the cars. If I was in a position to buy a car in Arizona, I would have bought from Cameron, I only wish the salespeople in PA were as friendly and knowledgable as Cameron. When you visit Pinnacle, please ask for Cameron and you will be extremely pleased! More
We spent 3 months looking at all the different car dealers that make a crossover/small suv in our price range. After looking at alost 15 dealerships, we narrowed it down and Nissan Rogue was in our t dealers that make a crossover/small suv in our price range. After looking at alost 15 dealerships, we narrowed it down and Nissan Rogue was in our top 3 because we loved the car, the value, and the customer service. This means that we went back to Pinnacle Nissan about 5 times before we actually made our decision and bought the car. Matt Dreis was our sales person, and he was friendly from start to finish. Initially, we made it clear that we were only able to look on Sundays and were probably not going to buy for a couple of months. Matt always treated us like we were his favorite customers, and he always took the time to answer all our questions even though we were firm on not buying or even negotiating at that time. We never let him run numbers (until the end once we had made our decision.) He did his follow up calls (as his job requires), but never made us feel pressured or annoyed. He was super respectful of our schedule and time. Once we decided we were going to buy the Nissan, we went in for the pricing game. They were tough on the price, but negotiated to what we thought was reasonable and fair. We knew what we could afford monthly, and so we eventually walked out saying, "This is a fair price, but we will come back in one or two more months so that we could save up a bit more money to put a down payment and keep our monthly payments where we needed them to be!" They called us the next day asking if we could negotiate a bit more. We had done some homework, priced with Fleet Managers, online searches, etc...and the price that Pinnacle Nissan offered was darn close to any others. So with all the hard work, patience, respect, and friendly attitude that Matt Dreis had shown, we wanted to make sure that he would get our sale (as long as they were able to come close!) So Matt got our business! Unfortunately, Matt was not there when we went in, but his manager helped on Matt's behalf. When signing all the papers, we were pushed to buy extra warranties, special payment programs, etc...but we said "No" and our word was respected. They had the exact car we wanted in the back, which had just been delivered to their lot so we had to come back in a few days so they had time to get it ready for us. We came back two days later to pick up our new car. A few mishaps took place, but they took the appropriate action and made everything right. We have had our car for about 6 weeks and are extremely happy. I was a loyal Toyota person in the past, but Nissan won me over...both the value and look of the Nissan Rogue for the price, and the great customer service at Pinnacle Nissan. Most people know that the car buying experience can be frustrating with the price negotiations. This is their job and it's always been this way. My suggestion is to know and be prepared. Be firm but nice. Do your homework so you know approximately what you will have to pay for the car! , and don't get mad when they do their job. Then go in expecting them to get you to pay one price, yet knowing where you stand. Words of Wisdom: Know what to expect, don't get frutstrated, be educated on what you are buying, and make it a fun experience even if they try to get you to pay more (that's their job...as long as they are nice about it...and Matt Dreis and his team were very nice!) Overall, despite the normal hassles of buying a car and dealing with the pricing, I extremely enjoyed my car buying experience at Pinnacle Nissan. I would highly recommend buying a car from Matt Dreis, and would definitely buy there in the future myself. More
This dealership used a typical bait and switch ploy. The sales representative was unfriendly and offered no apologies for tricking me. I took my business to Power Nissan in Chandler and never looked back. sales representative was unfriendly and offered no apologies for tricking me. I received an immediate response from Pinnacle Nissan employee, Aaron. I told Aaron what type of vehicle I was looking for. After checking several used vehicles, I found and drove the Nissan Sentra. Af employee, Aaron. I told Aaron what type of vehicle I was looking for. After checking several used vehicles, I found and drove the Nissan Sentra. After driving the vehicle, Aaron and Pat worked on the documents and within a couple of hours we were ready to go. Aaron, Pat, Robert were friendly, efficient, capable and professional. The next day Wells Fargo informed me Jamie from Pinnacle Nissan messed up with the documents. I drove to Pinnacle Nissan and managed to straighten out the mess. More
I went over to Pinnacle to take a look at some New Frontiers. I hadn't really planned on purchasing anything that night, but if the price was right, I was willing. After meeting Matt, I thought he w Frontiers. I hadn't really planned on purchasing anything that night, but if the price was right, I was willing. After meeting Matt, I thought he was less than enthusiastic, but appreciated he wasn't pushy. He showed me a couple Frontiers and I took one out for a test drive...being generally impressed with the vehicle, I agreed to go in and talk numbers. Again, I wasn't really planning on making a purchase that night, so the deal was going to have to be out of this world. First of all, be very, very careful when they bring you their "offer" paperwork, this sheet is intentionally confusing, designed to make you think your getting thousands off the sticker, buts its actually just shifting the expense description around. After rejecting their first offer when I saw right through their purposefully deceptive "offer" paperwork, I was asked, "at what price I was willing to take the truck home at." I through out some ridiculous number, I believe 15K. After laughing for a second, Matt went back to the sales room and brought out the Sales Manager. He OFFERED 21,750, no mention of dealer add-ons, etc. I told him that was still a bit more than I was willing to pay that night, but if he would take 20K, we could do business. He declined, and we agreed to speak the following day after I thought about their offer. After thinking about it for a day or so, I decided to go ahead and accept. I called Matt to make sure he would be available and went back in. I THOUGHT this was going to be a straight forward transaction, they offered $5000 on my trade-in and a sales price of $21750. When I told Matt to go ahead and proceed as agreed two nights earlier he looked suprised. He indicated the $5000 trade-in offer was only if I purchased the care at the higher price...its plausible there was some confusion there. So, a bit disgruntled, I asked what, then, were they offering on the trade-in. After spending 20 minutes running around, he came back with another one of Pinnacle's now infamous "offer" sheets. The "price" was now 21750 PLUS dealer installed options, $1890 worth of stuff I didn't even want. At this point I flat out told Matt that he and his managers were bold face liars, and even if the price was phenomenal, I wouldn't do business with someone who's hand I wont even shake. Matt seemed suprised that I would "assume" the price offered is the price to buy the vehicle. My warning to anyone purchasing at Pinnacle...be careful, these guys, while friendly up front are NOT your friends. They will swap numbers around, make false promises, lie to your face, all to make you think you're getting a phenomenal deal all while really not changing the price at all. Lesson learned...STAY AWAY FROM PINNACLE, or at minimum, away from Matt. More
I have to say, overall, we had a great experience. John was great and very helpful, and the general manager, Gerry, was awesome. The finance department I can do without. Pushy and condescending; they made was great and very helpful, and the general manager, Gerry, was awesome. The finance department I can do without. This is the 3rd vehicle we have purchased from Pinnacle Nissan and were very pleased with the way we were treated on this most recent visit. Cameron was knowledgeable about the model we were interested in Nissan and were very pleased with the way we were treated on this most recent visit. Cameron was knowledgeable about the model we were interested in, and explained all the newest features and safety measures that have been added to the new model of Maxima we were looking at. He never got pushy or tried to pressure us into purchasing the vehicle. The only outstanding item we have, that will hopefully prove to be completed as expected, is repair of the minor hail damage that was done during the most recent storms in Scottsdale. Jamie in finance was just a super guy to work with, and helped us in making a decision on the best option for us in purchasing the vehicle. More
We can't thank Michael and Jonathan enough for all their help. We were not too pleased when we were told we were approved and everything was okay with the first car we bought and left with. Then we were t help. We were not too pleased when we were told we were approved and everything was okay with the first car we bought and left with. Then we were told to come back in on a Monday night, waited 45 minutes to see someone and then told we were not approved and had to leave the car there and had to had them give us a ride back home at almost 9pm. How humilating! We went back in only AFTER Michael called us and said to take a look at a BMW he had just gotten in. We liked it and we were again told us we were approved and PROMISED that we would not be told to come back in and have the same thing happen again. We were very hesitant to do this all over again and sit for another 2 hours of paperwork and waiting. It's been over a week and we still have the car. But we only came back because of Michael and signed the deal because of Michael and Jonathan. Had it not been for them, I would have no problem telling everyone how crappy Pinnacle Nissan treats people. Our second finance guy was quick and amazing and showed us what we had been approved for, no pushy selling, nothing. Now why can't it always be like that? More
