Due to extensive medical expenses last year, I had concluded that it would be quite some time before I could afford a new car. However, when I saw an online ad for "Closeout of 2010 Nissan's", I thoug concluded that it would be quite some time before I could afford a new car. However, when I saw an online ad for "Closeout of 2010 Nissan's", I thought "what the heck?", so I checked it out. I was only interested in the Altima, but of course there were no 2010's left. I went ahead and entered the info regarding what I wanted if I were actually buying a car. Almost before I was finished, the phone started ringing. The second phone call was from Michael Bastos and after learning the amount of the first quote, he said that he would beat it. As stated previously, I didn't need a new car and buying one now would have really been frivolous. In addition, although I had thoroughly checked out the 2010 cars and would have purchased the Nissan Altima, I had only seen pictures of the 2011, and had not driven either year's model. On top of that, in order to take advantage of Nissan's rebate, I would have to purchase the car the next day. Getting to the dealership the next day was out of the question. At this point, Kris Ross entered the picture, and offered to have the car brought to my house. There was still the question of how much they would give me on a trade-in when they hadn't seen my car. No problem. When Michael brought the car out he took pictures of my car, which Kris then used to arrive at a trade-in value. One last obstacle, the driver's seat had to have "heated power lumbar support", but I didn't care about the upgrades that usually come with it. Again, no problem. Kris called around and found one that met my needs exactly. After a little negotiating, we arrived at what I considered a good price, and I found myself the proud and happy owner of a beautiful 2011 Altima. It never would have happened had it not been for Michael and Kris's determination to make it work, and of equal importance to me, their kindness and consideration. Thanks again Kris and Michael. You made buying a new car virtually painless. More
I have been through many service advisors and I finally found one that I am comfortable wtih and trust completely. Robert has helped me with both of our Nissans and he has gone out of his way - above and found one that I am comfortable wtih and trust completely. Robert has helped me with both of our Nissans and he has gone out of his way - above and beyond - to make sure we get the best service possible. He is honest and communicates well. This past time our car was in for service he worked so hard to get a service partially covered even though we were out of the warranty because of mileage. What a blessing it was to have him plead my case and get the repair bill down significantly! I cannot say enough about Robert. It is such a pleasure to deal with him and he is such an asset to Nissan. His care for customers is so evident and I am thankful to be on the receiving end. I HIGHLY recommend him and would trust any vehicle to his care. Lisa Langaker More
Matt Dreis was great to work with. Matt went above and beyond to quickly respond to special needs to find a particular vehicle in a very short period of time. Matt is also very responsive to phone calls beyond to quickly respond to special needs to find a particular vehicle in a very short period of time. Matt is also very responsive to phone calls and was a straight shooter. Lastly, Matt really knows his product...as a former mechanic he can speak to the cars he sells in a way that no other sales professional I have worked with. Nick in the finance department was great to work with as well. Nick was able to get us great finance rates and explained the maintenance products better than anyone had previously at other dealerships. More
My wife and I have been on the Internet looking for the Nissan Altima for the last several weeks. I contacted Pinnacle Nissan and got Michael Bastos on the phone. He answered our questions and impressed m Nissan Altima for the last several weeks. I contacted Pinnacle Nissan and got Michael Bastos on the phone. He answered our questions and impressed me with his professional manner. We met him later in the day to test drive the Altima. He was very informative about the vehicle, courteous and just very pleasant to work with. We couldn't reach a deal that day but the next day, we called Michael as we decided to buy the car. It was a real pleasure working with Michael during the buying and delivery. Michael went over everything as things progressed. I would not hesitate to recommend Michael Bastos to any of our friends or family to help them purchase a vehicle from Pinnacle Nissan. He is a true professional with the ability to go far in the dealership. He is definitely an asset to Pinnacle Nissan. Mallory and Joan Luethe A very satisfied customer. More
When you make a purchase that effects your everyday life in the way a vehicle does, you want to make it with carefully with research and recommendations from those you know and trust. Well, you most likely in the way a vehicle does, you want to make it with carefully with research and recommendations from those you know and trust. Well, you most likely do not know me, but I am trustworthy and I wanted to share the experience I had with Pinnacle Nissan. I came to the dealership with the car I wanted in mind. I thought that as a young woman without assistance, I was going to have to be more than tough in order to not be “sold” into something that I did not want. I was completely expecting the “car salesman” experience. Lucky for me this did not happen. This is the only time that I have shopped for car that I was not immediately attacked upon arrival to the lot. Instead, someone greeted my at the door took me to the front counter where I waited only a few minutes before I was helped by Rob Murray. He came up, introduced himself, listened to why I was visiting and then found the completely right person to help me, Tristan Rameriez. It was amazing. No one was speaking over me, talking me into anything or acting like they were trying to use me to make a buck or meet a monthly goal. I was a person who wanted a specific car and they were going to work to help me get into it. The kind of funny, kind of amazing thing is that they allowed me to work the deal how I wanted to. I wanted someone to work on the financial aspect of the car buying process with me BEFORE I even looked at the car. This way if I couldn’t do it financially, I wouldn’t have fallen in love with a car. Knowing me, loving a car might have caused me to do something financially risky. No problem. Tristan and Rob sat with me over an hour looking at my credit, discussing my income and expenses and what I feasible could afford without changing my lifestyle or getting myself into a pinch. It was only after 500 questions on my part and 500 answers on theirs that I was satisfied that I would be able to purchase the car and we went for a test drive. Needless to say, I fell in love with the car. I went home a very happy girl that night. BUT WAIT THE FABULOUSNESS CONTINUES...since I purchased a used car there were a few ticks that showed themselves after driving the car for a few days. I was sure that I was going to on the hook for a bill and was obviously bummed. I called Tristan who got with Rob and it was decided that I should come in. Once at the dealership, Tristan stopped what he was doing and took me back to Service. We discussed the problem with the Service Advisor, Gabe Flores. Gabe asked for the keys and I groaned a little as I thought this meant that I was going to have to leave the car overnight. I was assured that they would at least diagnose the problem and let me know my options shortly. Before I finished my bottle of water (complimentary, by the way) Gabe appeared and said I was all set. I was dubious. “Set? Hmmm...When am I bringing it back in”? He chuckled, “No, your set, we fixed it.” I can’t explain my delight. And it was as complimentary as my bottle of water! Anyways, I love the car, it works perfect and when I have my heart set on something new I will be heading back to Pinnacle Nissan to chat with Rob Murray and Tristan Rameriez. If you are thinking about a car, you should head there too. Just some friendly advice from someone who was sitting in your shoes at one point. More
We brought our Armada in for a recall repair. We were very disappointed fro numerous reasons: 1. Although this was a recall repair, the dealer did not provide us with alternate transportation while they were repairing the car. 2. They did provided us with an "Action Plan" to perform other "repairs," including a charge for $1800.00 to scan our vehicle for codes. A service that most service shops charge $0 - $200.00 for. 3. Clearly, this service station intended to overcharge us for unnecessary repairs. 4. We purchased additional keys for our car, which they failed to program correctly. This resulted in us being locked out of our car after stopping at teh dry cleaners. The door locked itself automatically with the keys in the car. We needed to obtain alternate transportation to return home to obtain another set of keys to open the door. More
I am the type of person (consumer) that does my research before I purchase something signifiant such as a vehicle and since I didn't have a Nissan sales contact I made sure the sales reviews for Pinnacle Ni before I purchase something signifiant such as a vehicle and since I didn't have a Nissan sales contact I made sure the sales reviews for Pinnacle Nissan were good before I choose them as a dealership. Travis was great in getting back to me about the specific Nissan Rogue I was looking for. The best part was when he showed me the vehicles features. He showed it in a way that a "girl" would understand. He even offered me a free carwash if I ever was on the dealers side of town. Finance I think usually gets a bad reputation because they take a long time and they try to sell you things but I think Nicholas was respectful of our time and when it came to add on's he knew what was important and what was not. He was not pushy about anything. Only thing I have to say about finance NOT Nicholas but finance what concerns me is the blank document that we had to sign because they were going to make the initial application electronic-that freaks me out signing a blank sheet of paper that anyone could put anything on BUT the signing process was recorded so...not that freaked out. Overall I think our experience was great because we were knowledgeable customers (I hope that is how they felt about us). I think customers must do their research ahead of time and understand what is important to them-that I think will make it a smooth buying process and a pleasant experience purchasing a vehicle from a dealer. Not only do I want this review to show how happy we were with our car buying experience with Pinnacle Nissan but to also give consumers a review back. As consumers we always review people for their services but I honestly believe we have some control of our experiences. If you are a person that is not realistic and doesn't do your research ahead of time you possibly could leave the dealership disappointed and taken advantage of. BUT if you do your research such as knowing what the car is worth, knowing how much you can do monthly, knowing what is important to you, and understanding the process ALONG with being realistic then I think their shouldn't be a bad dealership experience unless the dealership is unprofessional and "shadey"-which Pinnacle Nissan is not. If you know what the car is worth and if you can handle the payments monthly then you will know what to expect BUT if go in just wanting the car and not knowing what you can afford sorry reality check BUT its not the dealerships fault that they cant get you into a vehicle that you want for the price you can afford. For example, my dream car is a LEXUS RX350, I know how much that car cost and I use to be a loan officer so I estimated my payments-looking at the difference between lease and purchase with the highest interest rate (as a side note-I consider the monthly of insurance for the car into what I can afford monthly) the LEXUS not so affordable for me right now so lets be realistic-I wanna have cake and eat it too so what is the nearest thing that looks like and has similar features to a LEXUS...research=Nissan Rogue! So people who will benefit from my review (rant) are people who want it all BUT with limitations...and for those who have daily jobs and need loans to afford what they want. Thanks Travis and Nicholas...hope we-my fiance and I were great customers! No bad thing to say, just wished we could have gotten a cheaper price on the car BUT don't worry we understand! Hope this helps some people. More
