Dealership is clean and the amenities are nice if you choose to wait for service. The service center took the vehicle quickly, without an appointment. Went in for an oil change. The service processor contacted me to advise they didn’t have the correct oil in a blend. During the conversation, we found that the recommended product in the computer was incorrect. In my case, a Powerboost F150 registers as a hybrid, which 0w20 is used, but the owners manual calls for 5w-30 over -22 degrees F. The ecoboost motor in the hybrid can be knock if the wrong oil is put it. Luckily, he got a hold of me and we discussed the issue before a mistake was made. While he confirmed the specs, he helped me look into the recall bulletin for my vehicle and explained (in detail) what I could expect when I made an apt to bring it in. The communication was great. Additionally, the contacted me the following day to make sure I was happy with the service. I would recommend this service department. This visit is my second time using Pines Ford as a service center. They installed a new transmission and torque converter in my old vehicle in December 2020. More
