I made an appointment 2 days in advance and called again to confirm on the day before leaving home. On arrival I was eventually directed to sales consultant who wasn’t aware of my appointment and also not with the car. The car couldn’t be started, the battery was dead and the reason provided was that someone from the staff drove it the previous day, couldn’t turn off the AC and that likely drained the battery. A mechanic from the service department was called but was totally unfamiliar with the car and couldn’t help. I phoned a Porsche contact who explained the process needed to jump start it. Several tries didn’t work and eventually, after the sales consumer checked with a Porsche dealership, he got a powerful starter. 3 hours after our arrival the car started. The aAC and ventilation was running full blast and couldn’t be turned off. I drove the car 40 miles to an independent Porsche service for a pre-purchase inspection. The findings were that the blower motor and associated parts needed to be replaced. The battery had to be replaced and the system reset. The paddle shifters only worked to upshift. The estimated repair exposure was between $5,000 and $8,000. The visor light when the mirror is opened didn’t work, same for the dome light. The front panel between the front wheels when removed revealed half an inch of wet gravel. The CARFAX showed no salvage or flood damage. After reporting all this to the sales management and walking away, this vehicle is still on the website with the initial price. More
Sadly unacceptable In July I took my Rav 4 in to Toyota Pinehurst for a total service, whatever was needed, and to establish a relationship for the future. Tires rotated In July I took my Rav 4 in to Toyota Pinehurst for a total service, whatever was needed, and to establish a relationship for the future. Tires rotated and oil changed and multipoint inspection. Standard and acceptable service. After awhile I noticed a small oil leakage on my garage floor, it was small so I hoped it was residual from not having been wiped clean. It happens.I had to go to Europe, the outer banks etc so I let it be to keep an eye on it. It persisted, so at a convenient time I called up and was told to bring it in at 3pm. I arrived and quietly explained so as to not cause any embarrassment in front of other customers. The response was almost accusatory for my delay and dismissively told it would be at least an hour. The attitude rather than the time element annoyed me, I took it straight to "Oilchanger', paid for a reliable oil change and was treated with noticeable friendliness and respect. As an ex GM of a Mercedes store I reflected on how in the same situation we would not only be asked to make it good but to send a crew out to the customer to clean the mess. You know if a customer goes in like a bull in a china shop I can understand the service advisor being defensive but I tried to minimize the situation and was treated unacceptably. Anyone can handle a straight forward transaction with 5 star service, the mark of a caring service advisor is to handle a hiccup with the same grace. As good as Oilchanger was I guess I am looking for a Toyota dealer for full service. More

We worked with the sales Do not go to this dealership!! We negotiated a deal for a 2014 prius over the phone since we lived an hour and a half away. We worked with the sales manager to agree on a price that was mutually agreeable. We were told they were detailing the car when we were on the phone with them to have it ready for us. We left our house to start the drive to purchase the vehicle and were called on our drive because they sold it to someone else. We had already negotiated the cash deal and they knew we were coming in. Also how do you sell a car to someone else if it’s being detailed? Too many things do not add up, I think we were lucky we didn’t end up doing business with a dealership that has no ethics. More

Bobbie once got me a car years back when I was in Ghana, West Africa before moving here to the states. Upon moving to the state, I contact him when I needed a car and told him what I want. He went out of his way looking and searching till found me exactly what I needed and in my budget. The used mazda cx-5 he got me was excellent and in perfect shape. I am a happy customer because of Bobbie and his managers. I will be going back soon for my next car. More
Glad I won't have to buy another car there Working with this dealership was impossible - they were incredibly unprofessional. I recently purchased a used vehicle from Pinehurst Toyota and had a terrible time getting things in order with them. As soon as they heard the words "we are financing with our own bank" customer service went out the window. They even lost track of the check our bank sent them and we (the customer) had to go and track it down only to find out someone at the dealership already had it and cashed it... but they told us they never received the money. We only got quick responses once we brought in my husband or my father. Once I got the vehicle, which was supposedly detailed, it was still covered in the previous owners dog hair and stains were on the ceiling. They misspelled my husbands name on the paperwork multiple times when they even had his drivers license on file with the correct spelling. The only part that was pleasant was that they young sales person was very kind and helpful, and he made sure that I got the new wipers and trailer hitch installed on the vehicle quickly. I firmly believe the core of the issues we faced were his management and the financial team at the dealership. More
