We wanted a Toyota Rav4 with our preferred color and options. The vehicle we desired was unavailable in our local area. At this point, we were not given an option to order a vehicle suiting our needs. This was when we got in touch with Rachael. Rachael was our only point of contact at PineHurst Toyota during the process. She advised us to order the vehicle directly from Toyota. Although initially apprehensive about ordering directly, Rachael was upfront with everything and put us at ease through the whole deal. The promptness in returning our emails and phone calls provided a good deal of comfort with the long distance purchase. Her patience in resolving all of our queries is very much appreciated! We were provided with a competitive pricing for the new vehicle and an average trade in value. Upon arrival at PineHurst to take delivery of our vehicle, we were greeted with friendly and respectful staff. We met with Tim Dunne who was in charge of the delivery of the vehicle. He made us feel comfortable as he went through all of the paper work providing us with the needed explanations. Finally, Tim patiently went over a lot of details of the vehicle and made sure we get familiar with the specifics. Excellent buying experience overall .. highly recommend! More

I only interacted with the dealer by phone and email while shopping for a new car. Rachael's prompt response to my initial inquiry set the positive tone that carried through the entire experience. I alw while shopping for a new car. Rachael's prompt response to my initial inquiry set the positive tone that carried through the entire experience. I always felt that I was in control of the process, never rushed or pushed like some dealers. Rachael was my single point of contact throughout the selection and negotiation process. The continuity made me feel valued as a person, not just a faceless possible sale. Don't lose that personal touch. The dealer offered a competative price for the vehicle I wanted. Unfortunately, it did not beat the price available locally by enough to be worth the additional travel to close the sale. I was actually disappointed we couldn't make the deal. More
Mrs. Schulz and Mr. Zimmerman were outstanding and respectful. I spent about a month searching for a vehicle that I really wanted and never got the response i recieved from these two. First off, my husband and I knew exactly what we wanted because we had been to Rick Hendrick Toyota and searched the lot for a 2010 Toyota Highlander Limited in Magnetic Grey Metallic. We had a USAA print because we had been to Rick Hendrick Toyota and searched the lot for a 2010 Toyota Highlander Limited in Magnetic Grey Metallic. We had a USAA printout of the price and we knew we were going to have to put in a request to have the car ordered from the factory. Our problems began when we placed the order and couldn't get a straight answer from the dealership staff. The Internet sales rep (Rachel) responded to my internet request right away asking me what I wanted. After I gave her a specific list, I did't hear from her again. I called her and explained what I wanted again, she said she didn't contact me because she didn't have the car I was looking for. We knew we would have to order the car because no lot in town had it. She did say that the order could take up to 45 days. However, she said it usually takes about a week. We did not know that when you order a car, there is no vin information and none of the paperwork can be completed. Robbie(salesman) did not tell us this and after waiting for over an hour to see Don (finance $ insurance) we found out that we had to come back anyway. Don and Robbie got their information mixed up on more than one occasion and were very unprofessional to one another right in front of us. Don, to put it bluntly, was a condescending xxxxxxx. He actually blamed my husband for information that Robbie mixed up. We should have walked away at that point, but we had already vested 3 hours, our credit check, and finance info. So we continued. Two weeks later, we got a call from Rick Hendrick Toyota stating that they had a car very similar to what we wanted, the only difference being the color was the lighter silver. We contacted Robbie who did not answer.(This was not the first time.) And so I asked to speak to a manager. Chad Holderfield is probably the only person that saved our sale. After two weeks of not having a car (since I had sold my old car so fast), he made arrangements for me to drive a used car until my vehicle came in. Another problem presented itself because the dealer couldn't say when the car would come in. The ETA was the 29th of March. We didn't get the car until the 1st of April. (Fedex would be out of business if they tracked paper the same way Pinehurst Toyota tracks their cars.) Two weeks after that our car came in. We qualified for 0%, 24 months no cost maintenance, and no payment for 90 days. No one mentioned there were extra steps to sign up for the maintenance. We submitted the paperwork and never heard from the dealer about that again. Don did fill out the paperwork correctly. I did not like the way he spoke to my husband and I as if we were children. I don't care how much older he is or how long he was a teacher for. Learn some tact Don! My husband is AD Army, so we expressed right from the very beginning that we were going to title the vehicle in Florida (our legal residence). There were no problems until it came time for me to collect the statement of origin. Then Don told us there was a problem with the bank and they would not finance the vehicle if we titled it out of state; just title the vehicle in NC. Easier said than done at this point. The loan was already issued. We would have to pay out of pocket for the taxes in NC. This was not only a burden when we PCS again, but out of pocket expenses were minimized in FL because of AD status. After I insisted to speak with the person at the bank and was told to wait. 30 min later, Don stated that the issue was resolved. Hmm, I called the bank when I got home, and they said that people buy cars in one state and title them in another all the time and it had no affect on the financing. Long story short, we had no trouble with the FL DMV to title the car. We did get our maintenance coupon book. Don submitted all the information correctly. I only would have liked to receive confirmation that the paper work was sent. I also would have liked to get two temp tags and not just one. It was too much of a hassle to argue for the second one. There are a few subtle things that I expected, but did not receive. On the Toyota website there is a rear DVD entertainment system, with headphone jack and outlet and things in the third row. We received the DVD player, but it was not the one from the factory. It was one the dealer installed. This was not what I wanted and we did not realize this until after we took possession of the vehicle. Robbie did not know enough about the vehicle to help us. And we paid $385 in dealer fees. The highest in town! Overall, we got everything we negotiated. We did not enjoy the process. I am not sure we will ever buy a car that is not on the lot. We will never go back to Pinehurst Toyota even for maintenance. Toyota cars sell themselves. The dealership hindered their own progress. This is probably why the showroom was empty. More
We had a great experience at Pinehurst Toyota in early April 2010, as we were in the market for a Toyota 4Runner. We personally worked with Craig Zimmerman, who was friendly, knowledgeable, and very April 2010, as we were in the market for a Toyota 4Runner. We personally worked with Craig Zimmerman, who was friendly, knowledgeable, and very willing to answer all the questions we had during our purchasing process. We ended up buying a used Toyota 4Runner, which we were able to get at an excellent price. Craig is by far the best salesman I have ever encountered at any auto dealership. His kind and professional attitude, in addition to the extreme effort he put into making sure we were happy, was noticed and is still greatly appreciated. We also had an excellent experience working with a very knowledgeable and helpful individual named "Donna" in the warranty department. She took the time to answer our questions about the warranty we were purchasing, and she was able to clearly explain all the questions we had about the different warranty options. Because of her, we were able to feel good about the warranty process, and are happy about the specific warranty option we chose (Gold-plus). She was a tremendous help, and is a valuable asset at Pinehurst Toyota. I would like to personally thank Craig and Donna for going above and beyond in making our experience a pleasant one. We will be recommending Pinehurst Toyota to our friends and family, based on the efforts of Craig and Donna. -Jackie & Mike More
Did not have the car that was advertised. They kept recalculating the price and coming up with a better deal but never close to what was advertised. I think dealers should be made to honor the advertiz recalculating the price and coming up with a better deal but never close to what was advertised. I think dealers should be made to honor the advertizement that they post and not have excuses as to why that the ad is wrong. More

Rachael (Customer Satisfaction) was more than eager to help me get the vehicle I wanted to their lot, Steve (Sales) was a "straight-shooter" when discussing the deal, Chad (Sales Manager) put me in the best possible financial situation based on my facts and numbers, and Don (Finance & Insurance) was helpful when signing the paperwork, pointing out key issues and things of note which will help me to be a happy owner. This was my second Toyota purchase, and I stand by their product, and I will return to Pinehurst Toyota for both services, and for my next purchase. Chad (Sales Manager) said it best "Buying a car should be fun..." At Pinehurst Toyota I can honestly say, it was. ~Chris More
we arrived on the sales lot at 4:00 on 2/19/10,and left at 7:00 with no answer concerning the purchase of a Toyota Camary. We were told that we would receive a telephone call the next morning letting us k at 7:00 with no answer concerning the purchase of a Toyota Camary. We were told that we would receive a telephone call the next morning letting us know if we had been approved for the loan and finally I called the salesman myself who told me he was going in to check then on the status, he finally called at 1:00 PM left a message that they were still waiting and he would call back within the hour. At 5:00 that evening my husband finally called the dealership to tell Mr. Dunne we were going to look elsewhere and Mr Dunne told him he was going in then to check on the status. My husband told him not to worry about it we were not interested any longer. We have bought several cars over the course of time and never have been given the runaround as this experience. In my opinion Mr Dunne was not truly interested in selling us a vehicle for whatever reason, and I feel we were not given the customer service expected simply because we had to initiate the return phone calls where as that was his responsibility in completing the business transaction either by telling us we were approved or not. I feel if he really wanted our business,he would have stayed with it until he got an answer, and let us know, in otherwords, this was a wasted trip. We had bought a toyota corolla from the same dealership approx 2 years ago and the buying experience was very good, that is why we returned again, but don't plan on returning unless we have a change of heart More
