Awesome Service Dept! Pine Belt Subaru helped make a stressful situation soooo much less stressful. I was told by 2 different mechanics (one being at a transmission shop) Pine Belt Subaru helped make a stressful situation soooo much less stressful. I was told by 2 different mechanics (one being at a transmission shop) that my Subaru had a transmission issue ($$$$).....well...decided to take it to the experts at Subaru. Best thing I ever did....my issue was not with transmission - it was a hub bearing. I have to say the people at Subaru from Katie who I spoke with on the phone to Scott in the service dept. were just awesome!! They were extremely helpful and got me back on the road in 2 days. Car runs great. When I think that I could have let the trans shop remove and disassemble my trans for $800 only to find that was not the problem....I could have been taken for thousands!! Mind you - my car is a 2010...I did not buy the car from this dealership....and they really took care of me. Great people...when I am ready to buy a new Subaru (will probably pass this one on to my daughter), I will go there without hesitation. Thank you Katie, Scott and James C (the tech who worked on my car) !!! Trust the experts!! More

Money back from warranty vendor Well, to make a long story short, because of a break in the rear window defroster grid, the radio would play static when turned on with rear defroster Well, to make a long story short, because of a break in the rear window defroster grid, the radio would play static when turned on with rear defroster. Zurich the warranty vendor advised Pinebelt to repair a suppressor first. They also advised that if that was not the problem, that we would be responsible for that cost.... Which is totally ridiculas. Of course the suppressor didnt work and we had to replace the rear window which Zurich paid for. After many phone calls, Eric Cenname of Pinebelt was able to get us reimbursed for that additional expense. Many thanks to Eric and Pinebelt. More
Bad mechanic work they did a poor job replacing timing belt on 2002 outback, the I idler pulley went and belt broke wiped out the engine 4000 miles later. The kicker is they did the timing belt at 114,000 and at 216,000, both times they never replaced the Idler bearing, they had the records for the service on this car and they ignored good common sense, any good mechanic would have said better replace the idler pulley its the original, no they did not, blamed it on the car, this car was well maintained and always serviced at Subaru, Pine Belt/ They tool no responsibility for this and the car is destroyed, Do not take your car to this Butcher shop that only cares about the money. The service manager did not know what he is talking about and a smooth talker. More
Worst service experience I've ever had Bought my new Forester in August,. since day one the Bluetooth wouldn't work. Been in and out of the service department several times. On Jan. 20th I Bought my new Forester in August,. since day one the Bluetooth wouldn't work. Been in and out of the service department several times. On Jan. 20th I left it there one more time. The car was there all day Tuesday...Wednesday and Thursday.Late Thursday afternoon the service manager left message that they re-programed the Bluetooth and if it didn't work than I needed to re-program my phone. When I picked up the car the Bluetooth didn't work. The strange thing is that when I got into the loaner they gave me I paired the phone and everything worked fine. Now I'm told that I will just have to live with it. I guess they are just interested in selling cars. More
Terrible Service Department I purchased a 2015 Forester on June 30th......great car, no problems. When I bought the car in for my first FREE oil change everything was fine. On A I purchased a 2015 Forester on June 30th......great car, no problems. When I bought the car in for my first FREE oil change everything was fine. On Aug. 19 the car was totaled in a accident. Two weeks late I purchase the same car. When I bought that car in for it's first Free oil change I was charged $28.00 for tire rotation.....who rotates tires after 6000 miles. From day 1 I've have nothing but problems with the blue tooth. At first they told me it was my phone. That lie didn't work because it worked perfectly in the same car I purchased in June and my phone works fine in my other car. Than I was told that I would have to erase all my messages after every text......I told them that was unacceptable. The last visit lasted 4 hours and they still couldn't fix it. Than Thomas Pagano told me that he would be contacting the Subaru techs in Cherry Hill and he would be calling me back. After 9 days I called him and was told that they were not returning his calls. When I told him I was tired of being lied to and him not returning my calls he told me that there was nothing that could be done and I would have to live with it not working. I love the car but I will be taking it some where else for service. I will be sure not to recommend this dealership for service. More
