SCAM ALERT! ! SCAM ALERT!! I went to Pine Belt Nissan of Toms River to test drive an Ariya. I also had a coupon for a $50 gift card with a test drive which I m ! SCAM ALERT!! I went to Pine Belt Nissan of Toms River to test drive an Ariya. I also had a coupon for a $50 gift card with a test drive which I made them aware of from the beginning. So after taking all of my info, name address, cell, email, scan of drivers license, we go for a test drive. After we talked some numbers while he applied extreme pressure to leave with the car. I liked the car and was interested but was not leaving with the car. After grinding me for an hour, the salesman feigned ignorance about the gift card. Then came back and said he talked to his manager and said I had to redeem it myself on the website. I said this is impossible and the email says at the end of the test drive an associate will redeem the card. He went to his manager again. Kevin, the manager came out and changed his story to now he was having trouble with the redemption website and they were closed so he would look into it Monday. Then he read the fine print aloud and said dealer reserves final decision to redeem gift card or not and it was his store and he was not going to redeem my gift card. So I got scammed out of my information and time. Every customer is a potential whether right then or in the future, and they lost me forever as I will not be pressured like that basically lied to. If they did not want to participate, do not take my information and time, you cannot participate up until the end and if I don't buy the car, you change your mind. This is nothing more than a SCAM! More
The worse service department/process ever! ! Made two separate appointments for a recall. Was told I had the first appoint of the day, 7:45. Brought my car for the first appointment and was tol ! Made two separate appointments for a recall. Was told I had the first appoint of the day, 7:45. Brought my car for the first appointment and was told that there were 10 cars in front of me with appointments and it would be quite a while before they would get to my car. Left the dealership. Received a call from there service department asking why I didn't make my appointment. I told the girl the issue. She was surprised at what happen and I scheduled another "supposed" first appointment of the day at 7:45, which was several weeks later. Went in for the 2nd try, once again 5 or so cars in front of me that have appointments. It seems like regardless of your appointment, they put your car in a line with all other cars regardless of appointment and/or time of appointment. I was early for my 7:45 appointment. I Left the dealership again and booked an appointment with another Nissan dealer that values customer time and honors their appointments. Won't be going back for service and to buy another care from Pine Belt. More
The salesperson, Chris Cirillo , was personable, knowledgeable, and professional in all aspects —no pressure, no gimmicks, no false presentation. He spent a lengthy amount of time with us and he cov knowledgeable, and professional in all aspects —no pressure, no gimmicks, no false presentation. He spent a lengthy amount of time with us and he covered all the bases from pricing, discounts, warranties ,options and possibilities of various models, understanding our price range. He afforded us the chance to test drive cars of our choice. He displayed patience with answering all our questions. He covered it all. It was a great feeling to leave a car showroom knowing we had the best car , that we could afford, and that we had the very best service. A note regarding the gentleman in the financing department, Joe Cirillo—- although he came into the conversation towards the close, he ,too, was though and professional and personable. Once again , thank you Chris for all . To whoever is planning on visiting Pine Belt Nissan of Toms River , ask for Chris Cirillo. You will not be sorry.
