Okay, I purchased from Pinebelt three years ago after going to other dealers that were less than helpful or friendly. This time around my best friend was purchasing. We scouted out some options from a dealer much closer to home. Of course, it was a terrible experience with cocky, rude employees. But that's fine, cause we knew we would be making the purchase from Pinebelt anyway even though it's much further from home. We dealt with Mark Rousseau and I must say, he was extraordinary!!! Conversation came EASILY and he IMMEDIATELY made us feel special! I was shocked once I found out he was only there a month! Not only was he easy to deal with, but he was fun and extremely genuine and REALISTIC, which isn't a quality you find in most car salemen. Mark is going to be a powerhouse for Pinebelt, although they already are an amazing location! It speaks volumes when the quality of the employee is more important than shoving a number down your throat and refusing to budge. Rich was the manager we dealt with and he was patient and extremely helpful as well. Two times I've been through a purchase here and both times I had great experiences with their people. They truly create a connection!!! After all the miserable experiences I've had elsewhere, I am so happy I've found a place as amazing as Pinebelt Nissan of Keport and I would NEVER purchase elsewhere!!! I will make sure for years to come that any friends or family go to Pinebelt as well!!!!! Kudos for great integrity- it's not easy to find in this business. More
A Walk In The Park - With Debra, Rich, Anthony, Nick My wife and I have been following Nick Cataldo wherever he has worked for what seems like multiple generations of Nissan cars and vans. When he started working at Pine Belt, we traveled from Staten Island the next time we needed a new car back in 2011. Although he was not available to assist us this time around [due to our schedule and through no fault of his] - he made sure that Rich Hendrickson would be on hand when we came in. Upon our arrival, we had the good fortune to have Debra Smith greet us and together, they begin the business of either buying our leased car or getting a new one. Rich and Debra quickly offered us the most aggressive lease deal on a new 2014 Altima with no haggling or over selling. Their approach was straight forward, like Nick would have been and has always been with us as customers, and we were sold on the idea of leasing a new car rather than buying out the expiring leased car. The entire experience was thoroughly professional, efficient and pleasurable - which is why I captioned this review like a walk in the park. Debra was simply a pleasure to do business with. It felt like we were visiting a well liked second cousin who was offering us a great business deal. Rich was efficient and courteous. Anthony made the signing of the lease papers easy and simple. All three made us feel like truly valued customers. What car customers like myself want from dealership personnel is honesty, integrity and sincerity. Obviously those are the characteristics we found in these three staff members. And of course, Nick came around to see how things were with us and it felt like a favorite uncle had come into town to visit and catch up on things. Debra was particularly charming and her demeanor throughout was exceptional. She was knowledgeable and she treated us terrifically. That we had a great time talking with her about things other than cars was like icing on the cake.Who says you can't have fun at a car dealership, especially with wonderful sales people. My suggestion: If you are thinking Nissan, head to Pine Belt and ask for Debra, Rich and Nick. Forget about going elsewhere in New Jersey or the local Metropolitan area of New York City. He was so friendly, listened to what we wanted, answered all of our questions and worked hard to get us a good deal. The check out process ran into some snags out of our control but he was very patient and even stayed after hours to get us our car that very night. Buying a car is a stressful process in my opinion but the customer service at Pinebelt made it much more pleasant than I thought it ever could be. Thank you Pinebelt! I would highly recommend this dealership to any friends and family in the future. More

He wasn't looking forward to the car buying process so it took him a while to go to Pine Belt to talk to someone. That someone was fortunately, Eduardo Callirgos who is an exceptional salesperson. He made us feel comfortable, non pressured and was very honest about how things were going to go. Once we met Eduardo things progressed very smoothly and it turned into an top rate buying experience. I'm sure we would not hesitate at all to go back to Pine Belt and Eduardo to buy another car. We are actually going to start watching the website for a used car for our daughter! I will say, Franz Crane was graceful and courteous throughout the whole experience and would recommend him as a salesman if you happen to be unfortunate enough to step in this dealer. Things started off well when I got to the dealer for the test drive and the initial negotiation phase. The car was fairly priced and I ended up paying the asking price which I was ok with. However, the financing part of the deal was a complete disaster and the worst customer service experience I have faced. One of the sales managers openly lied to my face about the interest rate that was offered to me by Nissan. This is a common practice for dealers to mark up the interest rate for extra profit, but normally the customer is unaware. When I called the dealer out on marking up my interest rate they became very annoyed and unfriendly. Ultimately it ended up with the manager throwing a final offer in my face and telling me "we aren't going to do it for anything less". The general manager Matt Clifton then got involved after I convinced them to work with me to make a deal. Again, I uncovered more lies and unethical tactics. I was being charged for things without my knowledge of them. Ultimately, it led to Matt asking me to leave the dealer because I refused Gap insurance and he "didn't want to do the deal anymore". I left the dealer and ended up calling back the next day to speak with the customer relations person. This person was much friendlier and we were able to work out a FAIR deal. It could have been this easy from the beginning. The level of customer service was atrocious and really left a bitter taste in my mouth. I have never seen a customer kicked out of a dealer due to tough negotiation skills. The fact that pine belt is able to treat any customer with this level of disrespect really speaks volumes. Further, my registration was botched after careful directions to transfer my plate. I made it clear that I wanted my current plate transferred to the new car and was assured this would happen. A few weeks later I get a call from the dealer telling me my new plates were ready to be picked up. Overall terrible experience and I would caution anyone considering buying a vehicle from pine belt Nissan to really think twice. More

Tom Hebrew and Bob Sorg EXCEEDED my expectations and provided EXCELLENT customer service. My wife and I purchased a 2011 Nissan Murano and a 2006 Nissan 350Z and I am so happy with my new cars. I absolutely love them and are a great fit for us. My daughter Peyton loves the Murano and I can't wait for the summer to cruise with the top down on the 350Z. We first met Franz three years ago, and leased two vehicles. He is just an all around nice guy, very caring and down to earth. He is quite knowledgeable about the cars he sells and was concerned about our best interests. Franz was the only salesman to follow up with a phone call. He asked if there was anything he could do to have my husband come back. While I was not ready to turn my leased Rouge in just yet, my husband went back. About and hour or so later my husband called me to see if I would come and look at the Altima he was interested in. Low and behold Franz worked his magic again and we left with two cars just like the first time three years ago.
