This was the worst experience trying to buy a car. First of all the salesmen stand outside like vulchers. I witnessed a salesman walk with the customer across the used car lot and into the Subaru building of all the salesmen stand outside like vulchers. I witnessed a salesman walk with the customer across the used car lot and into the Subaru building and than came out munching on popcorn. The funny thing was that the customer did not have any popcorn, just the salesman??? It looked as if he just went in for popcorn and came out. Not very professional looking. Than when I got in the showroom I over heard 2 salesman COMPLAINING about another employee. Than some WELL BUILT MAN came out of the glass room in the middle and took them inside to another man with a goatee who was filling his face WITH FOOD at the HIS desk in plain view of the customers. The man with the goatee than started yelling at these 2 salesman. He yelled so loud, I did hear the vulgar language he used. After seeing that I decided not to buy the car from them. The only plus was my salesman, was very nice. Sorry I could not buy from him. I also put my review on google. More

Since trading in my car in July I have had nothing but problems dealing with Pine Belt. My check engine light came on the second day of having the car and pine belt has been unsuccessful with turning it o problems dealing with Pine Belt. My check engine light came on the second day of having the car and pine belt has been unsuccessful with turning it off. Dan Ariel the (general manager) gave me his word that they would fix my car for no cost because of all the b.s i had been through with them. Now January and my check engine light is STILL ON and they will not return any of my calls or voicemails that i leave and every time i call, they are never around to answer the phone. This is extremely ridiculous, they could at least have the decency to return my phone call and give me a price of the problem that they say they found this time. EVERY SINGLE TIME I GO THERE THEY SAY ITS ONE THING KEEP MY CAR FOR A DAY "FIX IT" RETURN MY CAR AND WITHIN THE NEXT 2 DAYS THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS BACK ON! AND EVERYTIME I GO BACK THEY SAY ITS SOMETHING DIFFERENT. this makes me question whether or not they did any work or if they just put miles on my car and used my gas. At least a quarter tank and 35 miles were put on my car every time and for what? they clearly DID NOT fix my car and i cannot pass inspection and just recently i got a ticket because of it. They reset my check engine light and give my car back like they actually did any work. I AM BEYOND DISGUSTED WITH PINE BELT AND I WOULDNT RECCOMEND THEM TO MY GREATEST ENEMY!!! More

The dealership was very good in following through with what they promised me. After I purchased the car, they called me days later becuase there was an error in one of the papers with the vin #. To make up for it they lowered my monthly payment again and gave me 3 additional free car washes. If they say they will call they do. I would definately recommend them to friends and family. I priced around cars and went to many dealers and no dealer was as honest and accommadating to my needs. More

This is a dealer to be avoided. They are the "bait and switch" kings. Not a single vehicle they advertise is available for sale. They advertise that they are a "bank", which they bare not. I had a very pleasurable experience buying my new van through pine belt chevy of Lakewood. I walked in after having a terrible experience with lester glen chevy of toms river after they tried pressuring through pine belt chevy of Lakewood. I was greeted by Marc Cohen of Pine Belt and explained to him my troubles with lester glen. Marc completely understood what I went thru and took the time to make me happy. We went for a test drive, answered questions that I had and I was given a great price on the Brand New Van. I decided to purchase my vehicle thru Marc and he was gracious enough to come in on his day off to accomodate my work schedule and purchase my work van. I am loving the new van and a huge thanks to Marc Cohen for making my car buying experience a great one. We've bought/leased over 10 cars and the Pine Belt experience was one of the easiest. Very fair pricing for the used car we were buying and the car we were trading in.
