I had previously stated that I would rate service after I had the opportunity to use them. The night we bought the car we got home and called Mark to tell him that the steering was off-center and needed an alignment. We were told not to worry and that when the car was brought in to have the leather seats installed it would be taken care of. Well guess what? it wasn't done. We had to make an appointment which we did. While waiting for the appointment date the engine started to rap. I checked the oil and it was dirty and half down. This from a car that only had 8316 miles on it and was "certified" or we were told so. The car also supposedly had the famous 160 point check before sale. Oooops-missed the half down dirty oil and was told by the Service Manager Dave that they were not notified of such but would so it as a courtesy. Steering further left center now and was told this evening that this was not covered - even with the 160 point check. We have to pay but would get a break on the cost. The paint is still not in but not to worry - even though the seat installer scrathed the car, the salesman would pay for the touch-up paint. Bulletin - don't sella car as 100% certified and sell them an extensive 100% cooverage and then tell them to pay. Especially when reported the same day as sale and car was still inder dealer warranty yet. Since I have to pay I will probably go to Sears. At least it will get done right.
