Bad Service Experience Sold us a used Minivan with warranty and 120-point inspection; within one week A?C and heater made horrible noise; took to service department 4 times, Sold us a used Minivan with warranty and 120-point inspection; within one week A?C and heater made horrible noise; took to service department 4 times, not only were the unable to figure out what the cause of the noise was, when on the hoist they damaged both the driver and passenger doors and had to send it out for paint; also damaged the glove bx and A/C vent in dash at same visit; no fix but they are willing to buy it back for $2,000 less than I paid for it 3 months ago even though it's only been in their shop all that time. What are they thinking? Profit is way more important than customers. The dealer's techs are not trained, don't know what they are doing and the dealer should do the right thing and buy this vehicle back for the full price I paid for it. Do NOT buy anything from this dealer, you cannot trust their inspection or techs and the owner will not do the right thing. More
DO NOT GO HERE I love mopar but this dealership is ran by a bunch of scammers espesially the service department (Robin and the service manager) DO NOT GET WORK DONE I love mopar but this dealership is ran by a bunch of scammers espesially the service department (Robin and the service manager) DO NOT GET WORK DONE HERE! I took my truck in to get my wheel bearing and exhaust manifold done which took over a week and a half to do without a loaner car. And when I get my truck back all seemed well until my reverse camera no longer works and they claim that have no idea why... the following day after getting my truck back I get a phone call saying they FORGOT TO PUT MY DIPSTICK BACK IN and I needed to make another trip out there because they messed up to come get it. So I went back to get my dipstick and my fog light was out so I had them look at that while I was there but they said they couldn't figure it out.... my fog light.... so I went home and on my way home I realized my headlight was out so I had to go back the third day ina row so they can fix my headlight which is NOT burned out and again they said they "couldn't figure it out" mind you this is the service manager telling me this. I don't know needless to say I won't be going back there I'll either be going to brightons or fowlerville for service work. More
Terrible Terrible I called the dealer about a used car they had on their lot. After doing the quick pre-approval I asked them NOT to send our credit to any banks until I called the dealer about a used car they had on their lot. After doing the quick pre-approval I asked them NOT to send our credit to any banks until we could agree on a price. We here we are a week later and now the letters from the banks are rolling in. Sales manager can't even return a call to me about how this happened when they were asked multiple times to not apply for any loans. Thankfully I wised up and went to Brighton Ford and bought a brand new car for the same amount they wanted for the used one. I will never step foot into their building again for any reason. This is the second time within a year they have been extremely unprofessional, rude and lied. I really hope no one else falls victim to their bs. More
Terrible customer service, Don't buy used from these guys! Don't expect any mercy from this dealer when it comes to used vehicles! I drove my Jeep Wrangler for just over 500 miles when the engin light came on Don't expect any mercy from this dealer when it comes to used vehicles! I drove my Jeep Wrangler for just over 500 miles when the engin light came on for an O2 sensor. I wasn't able to bring it in for about 2 months after I bought it because I lived out of state and my temporary Michigan registration expired so I had to wait for my state to send me a new one to drive it again. I knew it was an O2 sensor issue because I had someone else plug their computer in to find out the issue with the engine light. They wanted to charged me $120 just to plug in their computer just to tell me the exact same thing I already knew! I went to another garage to have them fix it for much cheaper than what they quoted me for fixing the sensors AND they plugged in their computer for free! Well I finally got it home and it didn't pass the safety inspection OR the emissions test in my state. You'd think that they'd sell a car that could at least pass those two things. If you can drive the car off the lot and never have to take it back you'll probably be fine. BOTTOM LINE DONT BUY USED!!! More
Poor Communication Skills from Salesman Long story as short as possible... We were looking for an inexpensive used AWD minivan for my wife to use occasionally for her interior design busine Long story as short as possible... We were looking for an inexpensive used AWD minivan for my wife to use occasionally for her interior design business to haul items to clients, and for me to occasionally tow a small trailer with. I found what appeared to be the perfect fit online at Pinckney Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, and was contacted by sales representative Bill Miasel. We made arrangements for my wife and I to drive over an hour one-way from Toledo, OH to Pinckney, MI this past Friday morning to look at, test drive, and possibly purchase this vehicle. I had $1,000 cash in hand for a down payment. My wife and I both had other obligations that day, so we drove separately. We got as far as filling out the credit application and had waited about an hour for an answer. At that time, my wife had an appointment to get to for a client, and asked to leave. Since the credit app was to be in her name, I told Mr. Miasel that I would leave the $1,000 as a deposit and that we would return the following Monday to pick it up and sign everything. Mr. Miasel told me that they don't take deposits, and gave no indication that there would be a problem with our plan. I called later that same day to verify that she was approved and that we could pick it up Monday, and was told that the van was sold to another party. So we effectively wasted several hours of our time, not to mention the gas and miles on the vehicles we drove to the dealership that morning. When I mentioned this to Mr. Miasel, he said "... yeah, I'm pretty bummed about it too. Our used car manager won't accept deposits." Had we been properly informed that by leaving, we were forfeiting our claim to this vehicle, we likely would have made arrangements to sit there and continue to wait for credit approval so we could conclude the transaction... or at least do whatever necessary to guarantee our claim to this vehicle. Needless to say, I will never do business with this dealership or this salesman again. More
Unbelievable customer service. I had a medical situation that prevented me from picking up my car in for warranty work. Before my wife and I could try to come up with a solution, Erica the Service Mgr said, that prevented me from picking up my car in for warranty work. Before my wife and I could try to come up with a solution, Erica the Service Mgr said, "Don't worry about it. I'll have a couple of the guys bring it back this afternoon." How many places do THAT these days! More
Sales or finance dept tried to rob us of $1000 by giving us a rebate we knew nothing about but qualified for, then reducing our trade in by the same amount. When confronted they correct the problem but I fe us a rebate we knew nothing about but qualified for, then reducing our trade in by the same amount. When confronted they correct the problem but I feel it was dis-honest and they were caught that is why they corrected it. I spoke with the sales manager and owner and neither cared to investigate and return my calls. I want nothing from the dealer other than to know it hasn't happened to others but i guess that was too much to ask for. More
