Don't Believe the Hype After dropping $32K on a new car at Pinckney Chrysler, we signed up for the Tires for Life promotion. As the years passed, we were loyal customers (although not perfect to the maintenance schedule, but we have lives, jobs, kids, etc so it's hard to remember to get an alignment every 12,000 miles). Nonetheless, we made sure all the maintenance work was done by Pinckney Chrysler, often paying 30-40% higher than other local auto shops to remain loyal to the program. Then after an oil change, service dept. says the vehicle needs new tires. Ok, we are signed up for Tires For Life. Uh, regrettably you didn't get an alignment in 2013 or 2015 so you no longer qualify. But what about the five pages of maintenance history showing our customer loyalty? Well, the best case scenario- if you get another $600 worth of maintenance work done, maybe Mr. Hall will consider you caught up to date and honor the program.... Sounds great, right? Except the next day, Mr. Hall did not think so. No Tires for Life. No Best Case Scenario. Just "Sorry. Nothing we can do. You missed some allignments." So the Tires for Life is largely a gimmick, a bait and switch where they know very few people will be in total compliance with the strict rules, and 80% of those who sign up will be denied, even if they spend thousands and thousands on maintenance at the dealership over the years. Here's the bottom line: when you don't give your loyal customers the Best Case Scenario, don't expect them to come back down the road, a year or two later, when it's time to buy a new car, because they know you won't be loyal in return. More

I have never had so many problems with a service center than I have this one. On four separate occasions (the only four problems I have come to them for service) I have been sent home claiming that my problems were fixed in my 2014 Dodge Caravan. But in fact my AC/Heat had never been fixed they didn't even open up my vents to check that they solved the issue (this happens two times in one week) the second occasion I had a flat tire and luckily my tires were covered so they "fixed" it next thing you know it's flat again they claim it's not related...😑.. Two days ago I had brought my vehicle into them to fix a flat tire and I leave foolishly thinking they actually fixed it. So on Saturday I decide to take my whole family to a drive in movie 75miles from home, with a newborn baby, and without a spare tire (because the dealership doesn't have to provide a brand new vehicle with a spare tire, which they DID NOT specify during time of purchase) so now we are stuck in Iona overnight with 4 children and a abandoned van at the drive in movie all because YET AGAIN the service department did NOT do what they were supposed to do!!!!!!!!! I come to the dealership every month or two for an oil change and rotation and dump 30-50$ each time (not to mention I drive 40miles to just get to this dealership) and they can't treat me like a loyal customer and just do their job?!????! If it weren't for the promotion I'm apart of I would not waste my time and money here ever again (who knows if they're actually even doing oil changes and rotations) I advise you to not get sucked into this horribly shady and crooked dealership! More
