Beware of this dealer! I am an out of state buyer, traveled all the way from NJ to check out, and subsequently bought a 2016 Ram 2500. The truck was listed at 94k miles a bit under Blue Book Value, wh traveled all the way from NJ to check out, and subsequently bought a 2016 Ram 2500. The truck was listed at 94k miles a bit under Blue Book Value, which isn’t uncommon for a truck that has been on the lot for a month. Bill was my point of contact throughout the process. I asked Bill via text, email, and phone to go through the truck, and let me know if there was anything wrong with it, no matter how big or small, just so I would not be blindsided by anything when I show up. “This truck is in great shape! Body is immaculate, frame has no issues.” Okay great! I then asked him when the last services had been done, since it was approaching the 100k mile threshold. Crickets. It took three more times asking the question for Bill to tell me that the truck has gone through the shop and was ready to go. Okay great, I’m thinking they did the right thing for their customers. I make the 9 hour drive to the dealership. I show up, met with Bill and start going over the truck. The body, far from perfect like he said, should have been a red flag to walk away knowing that he was willing to lie to me about something as simple as that. I know it’s a used vehicle so I was not expecting perfection, but I was not expecting to be lied to. There was $1000 of body work that needs to be done, but being under KBB, I took a chance. I test drive the truck and everything seems okay. We go inside to talk numbers, and I ask for the service records on the vehicle. They come out with a limited amount of service records on the truck, one of which showing that all 4WD services were declined by service manager to be done. The used car manager, John, comes over and assured me that the reason the 4WD service was declined was because the customer already did it himself. Okay, sure, maybe so. The truck, then had 97k miles, not 94k miles. I should have walked away. Ultimately, after arguing with them about the shape of the truck not being the way it was described, they offered a warranty, “for cost” which is BS, it doesn’t cost them anything. I decide to take the truck, figuring the warranty would cover anything that went wrong. The front driver tire was low, so I asked Bill to bring it into the shop and find out where it’s leaking from and to have it fixed. 20 min later, the truck comes out, tire light off, and I think I’m ready to go. I get it home. 3 days later, I lose brakes with my son in the truck. The very next morning, I call John, to tell him what happened, and that this is not acceptable. Ultimately l, because the warranty won’t cover anything this early on (as it’s a pre-existing condition), I tell him that this is unacceptable as the truck was sent through the shop. We ultimately agree to bring it to my nearby dealer for diagnose it and repair, that he would take care of it, and have the dealer call him for diagnosis. Fast forward to the day of repair, the dealer has not been able to contact John. 3 messages. I had not been able to contact John. 5 messages. So I call Bill. He answers, and let’s me know he will call the dealer. Bill authorizes the work, and states that when ready after repair, to call back so they can issue payment over the phone. The dealer calls me later in the day, letting me know the diagnosis, that Bill okay-ed the work and that there’s additional work to be done. Battery failed load test, trans service and 4WD service needs to be done, wipers, tire went flat and needs repair, air filters.. the list goes on. This truck did not go through the shop, and they LIED to me to make the sale. I should have walked away. $1500 in work that needs to be done that they told me nothing was wrong(on top of $1000 of body work). The dealership calls Bill back letting him know the brake issue was done. I was in the dealership waiting to pick up my truck at this point.Bill says he will call right back after the office gets the faxed invoice. 2 hours later, nothing. I call back. John, is not available, so I get to talk to Dale, the new car manager. Before he knows what’s going on, he tells me that once the vehicle is taken off their lot, it’s no longer their issue. Funny, because I’m getting a different story and work was authorized already. For another hour and a half (3.5 hours), they tell me they will call me back. Nothing. I finally get Dale back on the phone and he tells me that Bill has no authorization to approve work and they won’t be covering it. I’m getting the run around. Dale then tells me after I pushback, that I will need to pay for the repair, and they will send me a check to my house for HALF the amount of the work, and that’s the best they can do. LIES. I don’t trust this dealer so I push back, because I would have never seen that money. DO NOT DO BUSINESS. They will lie to get the sale, and they will lie to get you off their back. I had to threaten a lawsuit to get them to honor something they told me they would cover. They will lie for a buck, they will lie to get you out the door. This truck was the worst purchase I have ever made because I trusted a dealer who continuously kept mentioning their “Christian” status, even when unprovoked. Scam artists who sell junk polished up. By the time I’m done fixing and maintaining it, I will have spent $3k over KBB. More

Not only did they have the utmost respect and professional attitude but never pressured me into making a decision and took the time for me to feel comfortable with the major purchase decision I was making. This is how buying a car in 2020 should be and I couldn't recommend them anymore. I will absolutely be buying my next car from Pinckney Chrysler. More

My salesperson Tyler was extremely friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. I already knew the vehicle I wanted and went in on Black Friday for the employee pricing deal. After looking over the options and a quick test drive, we settled on a deal and made an appt. for me to come back later that day to pick up the vehicle. When I came back, I was out the door in under an hour. Paperwork was fast and easy, and I love the vehicle at a great price. More than satisfied! More
