I bought a 2007 Chevy Malibu from Kenny Hall in January 2012. Shortly after my purchase, I had a couple of problems with my car. Randy approved both repairs at no cost to me, and the work was done in a tim 2012. Shortly after my purchase, I had a couple of problems with my car. Randy approved both repairs at no cost to me, and the work was done in a timely manner. I dealt with JJ in the service department and Tommy in the body shop. At all times, I was treated with kindness and respect. I love my new (used) car and will definitely consider Piles Chevrolet for my next auto purchase! However, next time I will get financing through my credit union because they charged a pretty hefty sum for processing loan paperwork :). More
I have been buying cars from Piles Chevrolet for many years and come back because of there sales people, service, and just genuine good customer care. You can tell it is there policy to make sure the car years and come back because of there sales people, service, and just genuine good customer care. You can tell it is there policy to make sure the car we want fits us, there is no high pressure like many of the other dealers. Buck Sargent has been my salesman of choice since 1990 even before he sold Chevy brand and for a salesperson to maintain that type of customer loyalty for that many years really says it all. Just good honest people at Piles doing what it takes to make happy customers. More

Mr. Quinn followed up with me several times to make sure that my extra key was coming to me. I thought that I would have to follow up myself for the key. It was very nice to have a dealership who has employees who seem to care for the customer. Thanks to Rusty and John for an overall great experience. Returning Customer Ben Pugh More

Note: All "_____" found in this review are in reference to one individual. The only other person mentioned in this letter/review was "Todd." The sale consultant I dealt with was NOT named "Todd" nor did I come in contact with anyone named, "Todd" while at Piles Chevrolet. Any person located at this dealership named "Todd" is NOT related in any way to this letter/review and is completely coincidental. February 16, 2011 To Whom It May Concern, On February 15, 2011, I began speaking with _____ through e-mail after inquiring about a 2011 Chevrolet Cruze LTZ. _____was very helpful and prompt in responding to any and all questions or concerns I had in regards to my future purchase. I have been in contact with multiple dealerships throughout the past few days and felt very comfortable and confident with your dealership. My wife and I had plans on driving to Louisville today to speak with Bob Hook Chevrolet but after speaking with _____, we decided to cancel with Bob Hook and to offer Piles Chevrolet our business. Throughout numerous e-mail exchanges with _____, we were able to establish what Piles Chevrolet could offer and what my wife I were looking for. On February 15th at 3:45 PM, I sent ______ an e-mail stating that I received an “on the road” offer from Bob Hook Chevrolet for $28,500 and asked if she could offer anything comparable or better. I later received a phone call from _____ at 6:14 PM where she stated that she could definitely beat Bob Hook’s offer. _____ broke down the price of the vehicle subtracted by numerous rebates plus taxes and said she could get us on the road at $27,200. At that point, I advised _____ that my wife and I would be at your dealership on this date. After arriving at the dealership, I was put in contact with one of the Sales Consultants. I apologize for not knowing his last name but his name is “Todd”. “Todd’s” manager appraised our trade in and offered us the $10,000 that was discussed through e-mail with _____. My wife and I then sat down with “Todd”, where we found the Red 2011 Cruze LTZ RS with black interior we were hoping to find. After finding the vehicle “Todd” began to “crunch” numbers. During this process, we ran into 3 errors: 1. It was discovered that my wife and I would not qualify for the $500 Auto Show rebate because we live in Georgetown, Scott County. ______ stated she thought we lived in Florence, Kentucky. On February 15th at 1:11 PM, I sent an e-mail to _____ which states, “I live in Georgetown.” 2. During the phone conversation with ______, although she did not guarantee, she did state that she did not see a problem with us qualifying for the Ally/GM Financial Down Payment Assistance rebate for $1,000. “Todd” then advised my wife and I that we would not qualify for this rebate due to our credit being too strong. On February 15th at 2:55 PM, I sent ______ an e-mail that states, “My wife and I both have very strong credit; 750+…” 3. During the phone conversation, _____ said that we would only have to pay about $9,000 for taxes due to us only being required to pay the difference. When “crunching” numbers with “Todd”, he advised my wife and I that we’d be required to pay taxes as normal because the taxes she calculated was for an offer that expired in September. This left my wife and me with the GMS Pricing and $1,000 GM Loyalty Rebate. In the end, we would be required to finance approximately $30,425 which is far off the $27,200 on the road price she quoted during our phone conversation. The above 3 errors totaled $3,200. Prior to arriving at your dealership, I told my wife if we could purchase the vehicle we wanted for $27,500 on the road, we would purchase it. Had the $3,200 worth of errors not occurred, we would have been offered the vehicle we wanted, that “Todd” found for us, for $27,225. I can PROMISE you, had these errors not occurred, we would have purchased that vehicle from your dealership. I explained to “Todd” that my wife and I both felt mislead and lied to in order to get us in the door. Please understand that we do not hold “Todd” responsible for any of these issues. My wife and I do plan on advising anyone looking for a new or used vehicle to be careful when looking at Piles Chevrolet for what we believe to be unethical business practices. My wife and I are also considering the option of contacting the Better Business Bureau but hope that this situation can be resolved without it coming to that. My hope is that Piles Chevrolet will honor the price that was quoted to me. A response to this letter would be greatly appreciated. Respectfully Submitted, JMW More
