My car salesman did a fine job--not too pushy. He deferred pricing questions to finance and sales management. The management team gave me pricing on the car I was interested in. The price was where I needed it to be, but then they low balled my trade-in and told me I was better off selling it private party. So I did. I sold it below market as fast as I could and then called them back. They promised me the same price from 3 days before if I came in that day. I came back in that day and spent about 2 hours with them before they were ready to present the pricing to me. Guess what? They raised the price $2,000. They didn't even tell me--just tried to slip it in and hope I wouldn't notice. When I called them on the price hike they claimed the original price was a clerical mistake and had been "fat fingered". They refused to honor the price, even though it had been promised before I even made the trip in. These guys wasted 3 hours of my life and left me without a car. These guys are sleazy, deceitful, and flat out liars. More

The only time we really felt pressure was when signing the papers and all the extras you can buy with warranties and things. Otherwise, relatively painless. We were slightly mislead however with the idea that there was still a month or 1000 miles left on the limited warranty on the preowned car that we purchased. In reality, the warranty had expired on 12/3 and we bought the car on 12/23. This will cost us around $250 dollars to get the car inspected before we will be able to qualify for an extended warranty package. More
