Engine Failure Ford's 5.4L Triton engine with it "normal" tick on the right bank cylinder head turned out to be a valve train failure. A valve ended up in cylinder 2 Ford's 5.4L Triton engine with it "normal" tick on the right bank cylinder head turned out to be a valve train failure. A valve ended up in cylinder 2. Really a shame. My truck is now for sale, if someone is interested in spending $9,000. The Bill Pierre team was honest and professional. They are in a tough spot defending a poor engine design. I'd use them again, but it's unlikely I will have another Ford. After 40 years or loyalty, a corporation hiding behind a bad design as a normal engine noise is too much. If I had only purchased a 2011, I'd have the ecoboost engine. More

Bill and Levy are my guys!! I had a light come on while driving, I called Bill Mitchell, and he got me right in. They know I rely on my vehicle for high mileage work travel and always make sure it's in top running order! More
