The service department is fantastic. They answered all of my questions and were very honest about what needs to be done. I had to leave the care in the shop over night and the service department very nicely accomodated me with a loaned car. It was the best car service experience I have ever had. More
This is our second Mazda purchased at Piazza through Bob Daily and both experiences have been a pleasure both with Bob and all members of the Piazza staff. With each of our purchases my wife and I felt as Daily and both experiences have been a pleasure both with Bob and all members of the Piazza staff. With each of our purchases my wife and I felt as though we were treated with respect and our needs and price range were met. We are now a three Mazda car family. My wife drives the Mazda 3, my son an Mazda 6, and I drive a CX9. We have all three of our cars serviced regularly at Piazza. Like our experience with sales the service and parts departments have been professional, prompt, and have curteously met our needs. We are definately fans of Mazdas and Piazza Mazda. The customer service was very good. They clearly explained what services needed to be performed. I own a 1990 Miata that I have taken very good care of for the last fourteen years. But as time would have it and milage too, my little car was in need of some TLC. So I called around for an estimate t of for the last fourteen years. But as time would have it and milage too, my little car was in need of some TLC. So I called around for an estimate to replace the timing belt, water pump, thermostat, belts and hoses. Not knowing what to expect as far as price, I checked with various mechanics and was given a wide range of prices. Then a friend of mine (who is a member of the Miata Club) recommended taking my car to a dealer for the work. Reluctantly I did so and called Piazza of West Chester. I spoke with Paul Curtis, told him what I needed done. Within an hour, he had the estimate ready and I was very surprised at the price he quoted. Way below what the others quoted. We worked out the schedule and everything went as planned. Paul kept me updated and finished my car right on schedule. Even better I paid less than Paul quoted! I'm very pleased the way every thing worked out and will call on Piazza for future maintenance for my Miata. Hats off to Paul Curtis and the mechanics. P.S. My car runs GREAT! I've taken my car in to Piazza for the last 4 or 5 scheduled services, and have always been in and out quickly with no problems. My previous experiences at the Piazza Mazda have always been pleasant and enjoyable. That’s why I have no problem recommending this dealership to any of my friends and family. However my experience this been pleasant and enjoyable. That’s why I have no problem recommending this dealership to any of my friends and family. However my experience this past week was less than desirable. I dropped my car off Friday night for an Inspection and oil change. I promptly received a call from Bill in Service 9:00 AM Saturday morning letting me know to pass inspection, I would need two tires. He quoted me $300 for the tires, which included the mount/balance and labor fees. Bill ensured he would call me as soon as my car was done and I could pick it up. Eight hours went by and I received no phone call. Understanding that it is Saturday and they were probably busy, I reached out to them (5:00 PM). I called to ask was my car done and could I pick it up? The gentleman who answered the phone told me my car was finished, however the service department closed at 2 PM, but anyone at the dealership could check me out. At that point I thought to myself, if I never called them, how long would my car have sat there? I felt that they were friendly and accommodating when they were making the sale, but once authorization was given for the sale, that’s when the “customer service” went out the door. When I arrived at the dealership, one of the guys in sales was checking me out. When I received the invoice, there was an $80 difference on what was on the invoice and the price I was quoted. Since the sales guy had no clue, because he’s not in service, he's in sales, he recommended I just pay the full invoice price, then I can take it up with Bill on Monday. I knew what Bill and I discussed, and this was not the price. Something was wrong, or there was a misunderstanding somewhere. But I refused to pay the inflated price. Pat the GM then got involved and got Bill on the phone even though he left 3 hours ago. Pat was very nice and accommodating and strived hard for my satisfaction. Pat got Bill on the phone and handed it over to me. The difference in price was due to Service putting the wrong, more expensive tires on my car, and another part to pass inspection. These were tires and parts that I did not authorize, nor did we discuss on the phone previously in the day. I felt bad for the guys in sales, because the service team hung them out to dry. If a simple phone call was place when my car was finished and before Service closed, this could have all been avoided. A 5 minute check out turned into more than a 30 minute ordeal where I was disputing prices and talking on the phone with Bill and causing headaches for Pat and the sales staff. I understand mistakes happen and miscommunication occurs, but at that time, I didn’t feel very valued as a customer. In the end, Pat and Bill worked out the price and got me down to the number Bill and I discussed earlier. There was much frustration, but at the end of the day, they made it right. More
Dropped my car off for an oil change and tire rotation. Went to visit a friend at a nearby business and had to cut my visit short because the car was finished so fast.
