We checked online with several dealerships and this one offered the best price. We were in the lot checking out the Mazda 3's when we were approached by the salesman. He showed us a 2011 and took us for a test drive. The salesperson never once told us about the options or features of the vehicle. He also never did a walk around nor popped the hood to show us the engine. This being only the second time I bought a car, I really didn't know how to take this. He kept insisting that the '11 was cheaper than the '12. I showed him the pricing online showing that the '12 was less. He showed both prices with both reflecting $999 down or trade and even with the numbers right in front of both of us showing the 12 was less, he continued to argue that the '11 was cheaper. He then called the manager out who then threw a bunch of numbers our way to try and confuse us. Still the 12 was cheaper. Then the truth basically came out with the manager stating that "you can't sell 11's if you have 12's on the lot." Our trade offer was very low for our car. I had already checked KBB, NADA, and Edmunds to get an idea and their trade was well below this. I told them of my findings and what research I had already done. Then the trade came up another $1000. I told them if they gave us more for the trade, I would consider the '11 since it was still brand new and wasn't any different from the '12. They came up more. With the deal set in place, we bought the car in cash. I didn't really know how to take our experience until 2 days later when we bought our second car at a different dealership. This experience was a complete 180 and we were greeted and given above and beyond customer service. We have not even received a follow up or a thank you for purchasing a brand new car from Tom Masano Mazda. The other dealership sent us a personal thank you from the sales person and the dealership within hours of our purchase. I would not recommend this dealership if you are looking for customer service which this place lacks. However, they do offer some of the lowest prices in the area so if you can deal with poor customer service and a little hassle for a lower price then I would recommend it. More
Very friendly staff until you decide not to use their financing. Shady and not forth coming about what they are offering in terms of price, especially when you do not use their financing. Had to call multiple times to get them to send paper work to our financing institution. Will never use this dealer again to purchase a vehicle. I would prefer to drive a further then to have to deal with such arrogant, shady people. More
Everyone at Tom Masano was great when I came to look at a new car. One of the salesmen came out right away when we pulled up and gave us a detailed review of the car I was looking at. He grabbed the keys and took me for a test drive and explained everything about the car. After I decided I really like the car, we sat down and they worked with us and gave us a great price. They had the car cleaned up and ready to go in a couple hours. The general manager congratulated me and thanked us for the business. They were so pleasant and it was all around a good experience. Felt very comfortable in every aspect of buying an new/used car, Mazda Team was very helpful and went far and beyond to get me in my new/used Mazda 3s and drive it off that day. They stayed after business hours to make sure they did everything possible to make my experience an exciting one, I will forever recommend Tom Masano Auto Group to friends and family. TRADE-IN WAS MORE THAN I EXPECTED, FINANCE MANAGER WAS PROFESSIONAL TO ADVISE ME THAT THE MONTHLY PAYMENT I WAS QUAOTED WOULD BE MOR IN A NEW MAZDA. TRADE-IN WAS MORE THAN I EXPECTED, FINANCE MANAGER WAS PROFESSIONAL TO ADVISE ME THAT THE MONTHLY PAYMENT I WAS QUAOTED WOULD BE MORE, KEPT IT ONLY TO ME AND MY HUSBAND. THE CAR WAS READY FOR A TEST DRIVE WHEN WE ARRIVED, THE SALESMAN DID EVERYTHING AND ANSWERED MY QUESTIONS. I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP TO MY FRIENDS. VERY HAPPY!!!. More
My experience with Darren Brown at Tom Masano began earlier in the winter when I was looking for a "new to me" used vehicle. I came in explaining that I would like to keep my payments around $315. Darren came to me with the first payment over $500, followed by, "Now, what would you say if I could get that payment down to $499?" Well Mr. Brown, I would tell you you STILL aren't listening to me because your first two payments were followed by two more that were still over what my price range was. After spending two hours at the dealership I left disappointed and didn't feel as though I was heard at Tom Masano. Now here in the summer I thought I would give the dealership another chance. I found a vehicle I was in LOVE with and was VERY serious about wanting. I live 1 1/2 hours away so I called on a Tuesday to put a deposit on the vehicle and I made an appointment for that Friday at 11AM to come test drive the vehicle. I was told a manager would call me back within minutes to take a deposit. Three hours later I called back explaining no one called me. Darren Brown called me then and told me he couldn't take the deposit that early in the week, but he would personally have "Vinny" call me on Thursday to accept a deposit. "Vinny" never called, so I called Darren Thursday evening. Darren never called me back. Friday morning I called before driving 1 1/2 hours away only to find out the vehicle was sold Wednesday and no one EVER called to tell me! The LACK of customer service at this Mazda dealership is HORRIBLE! I would NEVER buy a vehicle, especially from Darren Brown. While he "apologized" for no one ever calling because "he is aggressive at selling vehicles" the condesending tone in his voice was enough to to make me ill. I guess I learned my lesson in trying to give Tom Masano Mazda another chance. More

I went to Tom Masano Mazda looking for a brand new Mazda 3, and that's what I ended up buying. My salesman was Bob, and he was just wonderful! I had my 8 month old son with me each time I was there (test driving, trade ins, picking up), and Bob was as wondeful to my son as he was to me... he played with him and had so much patience! I got a great deal on the Mazda 3, and the dealership offered extras that I needed, like a protectant for the seats & paint, and extended warranties for a great price. Everyone treated me great and knew me by name which made me feel like I wasn't just another customer there. Overall my experience was amazing, and I will never go anywhere else for a car! Bob will be my permanent go-to guy for anything car related, and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a Mazda. More
