Mr. Rice, Thank you for your feedback. Just to clarify, at no point during your initial contact with our dealership did you mention having a bank draft. Instead, you repeatedly assured our staff that you were paying in cash. Unfortunately, a bank draft is not cash—it’s a piece of paper. Had you disclosed this upfront, we could have spared everyone the unnecessary hassle and explained our policy from the start. For the record, we do not accept bank drafts for same-day delivery. The vehicle must be paid for in full before leaving our possession—a policy we don’t believe is unreasonable. We even offered you the option to leave a deposit and return with a cashier’s check, which you declined. So, the idea that we “didn’t want to sell you a vehicle” is, frankly, a bit absurd. Just to clarify, at no time did I mention a cash deal. I did repeatedly state I had my own financing. You’re twisting the facts to benefit your response was to be expected. Yes, we know you’re in the business of selling cars and frankly we don’t find that “absurd”, it’s a very lucrative business. From your response, it’s very apparent that you have so many customers that customer service for “all” is not your concern.

Kenneth, We apologize for any miscommunication regarding the arrival of the vehicle that you were interested in. Unfortunately, we are provided an ETA (estimated time of arrival) from the distributor, and in rare cases, that ETA is off by a day or so. We understand that this can, and in this case did, cause an inconvenience for you. You informed us that your main point of the initial visit was to sit in the vehicle to make sure that it was compatible and comfortable for you. Our sales consultant then found a similar vehicle (just a different color) with the same dimensions for you to sit in and drive. You were satisfied with the comfortability and compatibility of the vehicle. You informed our sales consultant that you did not have time to work numbers, and you requested that he provide you with a phone call/text message when the vehicle arrived as well as a quote for the vehicle. Taking into account the inconvenience of the vehicle not being here during your initial visit, we then provided you with an extremely fair deal upon the delivery of the vehicle. You then countered us with an offer of $4,000 less than our already aggressively priced quote. Our sales consultant politely and professionally declined your offer, and thanked you for the opportunity to do business. After reviewing the messages between you and our sales consultant, we feel that he treated you professionally and courteously. Therefore, we find your review to inaccurately represent to the integrity of our staff and store values. Service matters responded

Your sales consultant was not polite nor professional in declining my offer, he was condescending and lying to me. It would have been fine if he only said that $1700 was already taken off and no one would take off $5000 on this vehicle. Instead of a simple we cannot go that low on this vehicle he made the very untrue claim that your dealership was the ONLY one that includes a lifetime warranty and 4 years of maintenance when in fact multiple Toyota, Ford, Honda, Chrysler, and Buick GMC dealerships offer the same package or more without the snide attitude. If you feel this is the way to engage customers I’m sure I won’t be the only one who would rather take their business elsewhere.
