Went in to see about my extended warranty and buying a new truck a day later with a good salesman, who actually found a truck I like with most of the features I wanted. Not all but good enough. Jon was new truck a day later with a good salesman, who actually found a truck I like with most of the features I wanted. Not all but good enough. Jon was very good, and answered all my questions and looked up anything else I asked. Called me back the next day and helped me with more questions. Very good guy and a neighbor, we didn't know we had. More
830 opening time appointment an hour later and still waiting in line. Why have an appointment if they r just going to schedule or allow drive ups ahead of you. The time lost on waiting is not worth the waiting in line. Why have an appointment if they r just going to schedule or allow drive ups ahead of you. The time lost on waiting is not worth the free oil change for buying here. Not my first bad experience here but happily my last. More

We recently moved to the Ocala area and unfortunately, we got a screw in our tire. We purchased our 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited from a Jeep dealer in Tampa, and also purchased the additional coverage t got a screw in our tire. We purchased our 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited from a Jeep dealer in Tampa, and also purchased the additional coverage they offered (road hazard, scheduled maintenance, and extended warranty) through Fidelity Warranty Services, Inc., which is very reputable and used across the US. We stopped in our local Jeep dealer (Phillips) so they could fix the tire and were quite dismayed to find out that they do not take ANY “third-party” coupons (even though we bought them through Jeep). The service advisor we spoke to (Jeffery Smith) explained to us that it just takes too long to receive reimbursement and they have to provide too much documentation and then have to wait months before getting reimbursed. After several minutes of going back and forth with him, he said “listen, we will patch it for free this time but in the future they won’t”. We thanked him and started the paperwork. He said he had a few oil changes in front of us but he would get to us as soon as he could. Just as we got to the service lounge and sat down Jeffery came to us and asked, “Are you going to pay for this?”. We said that he told us he would do it for free and he said “[He] would have go through the service manager and it would take a long time and that he would probably get in trouble.” We were at their mercy at this point and agreed to pay to plug the tire ($28). Additionally, 4 other vehicles that came in after ours were completed and out before us! We waited almost 2 hours for a simple tire patch. After this experience we called our original Jeep dealer financial advisor and explained the issue. He spoke with his general manager and neither of them had ever heard of a dealer not accepting Fidelity’s coverage. Likewise, we have used our prepaid maintenance coupons near our previous home. They suggested we email Fidelity our receipt for reimbursement—we did and it took less than a week to receive our reimbursement check for the full amount! After our experience with Phillips of Ocala, we will NEVER go back to Phillips for service, nor would we even consider buying a vehicle from them—and we live just minutes from them! We have since called the Gainesville and Inverness Jeep dealers (both about 40 minutes away) to see if they would take our additional coverage and were told by both it would be no problem. We decided to go to Inverness for other warranty work and they were friendly, courteous, and timely! More
So if I was able to not put a star I would .This was the worst expert ce I've had I had a recall on my 2024 Dodge Charger arrived at 10:30 am had an 11 am appt no problem arrive they ask what service I said worst expert ce I've had I had a recall on my 2024 Dodge Charger arrived at 10:30 am had an 11 am appt no problem arrive they ask what service I said software recall no problem take my car no other questions asked about the vehicle other than will I be waiting or dropping off after about an hour the service guy comes to me and said well we did your recall but now your car won't start? Then the question is asked has your car been modified by chance .why wouldn't that question be asked before the update as a precaution to assure it's not going to mess things up or give me the option to not have it done .long story short I am stuck at dodge for 5 hrs no vehicle and no solution or any idea on how this will be fixed other than it's not dodge fault. eventually, I towed my vehicle from dodge at my expense and now had to pay $500 to get it fixed again at my expense with dodge not offering any assistance I will tell everyone I come in contact with never to use this dealership and post on all social media platforms to help spread the word The worst experience ever! We have brought our truck to the service Dept 3 times because the truck kept going dead. The batteries were changed the first time, the alternator the 2nd, snd nothing was done the 3rd time. I ask the se because the truck kept going dead. The batteries were changed the first time, the alternator the 2nd, snd nothing was done the 3rd time. I ask the service manager, Jim, to come out and he shook his head no, snd said no. I ask him why snd he said you can get the manager if you want. So I did. We have had our truck there multiple times. Will not deal with Jim again. He does not communicate to anyone about the problem. You need to do something about him. He has an attitude snd doesn’t need to treat customers like he dies. More
Could not review less. Started off with a Oil/filter and tire rotation. Service writer states that when rotating tires one of the lug bolts is stripped and would need to be replaced. My vehicle is kept up 1 tire rotation. Service writer states that when rotating tires one of the lug bolts is stripped and would need to be replaced. My vehicle is kept up 100% tires rotated every 5000. Even through I cannot prove as it would be they said I said, I am out of town here for the winter leaving in 2 weeks No choice. But no doubt it was matter of when the tire was rotated and being put on using the air gun they cross treaded causing the stud to strip. So my bill doubled. $192 for a oil/filter and tire rotation with a new stud. Labor cost for sure. Would not recommend this dealer. More
Excellent service!! My family and I were on the way Excellent service!! My family and I were on the way home from vacation, on a Saturday afternoon, and our van had some issues that needed immediate Excellent service!! My family and I were on the way home from vacation, on a Saturday afternoon, and our van had some issues that needed immediate attention. We were able to limp in into the dealership and made connection with John. John sat with us for a couple of hours at the dealership and kept us company as we waited on a ride. John tried his very best to help us out of the jam we were in. We even suggested trading the van so we could continue on our journey home. But John actually detoured us from trading because it would not be in our best interest. Yes, it would have helped us out in the moment, but not for the future. John also went the extra mile and helped me get our luggage out of our vehicle so it could be transferred to the vehicle when it got there to pick us up. John had also called service on Sunday to get them up to speed on what they would be facing Monday when they got in. On Monday when I called to get an update, I talked again with John and he filled me in with where they were at and to give me an idea of when service would call to let me know what the problem was. Jim called and let me know that it was an update for the vehicle and it was ready to go. When we got back to the dealership to pickup our vehicle, John walked me where I needed to go to settle up and get on my way. If I were not 1,000 miles away from the dealership, I certainly would not take any business anywhere else. John not only went the extra mile, but several after that to help us out. John has the best interest of the customer in the forefront of his mind and actions and it shows. He could have very easily taken advantage of us in our situation, but he wouldn't even consider it. Like I mentioned before, he talked us out of trading because it wasn't in our best interest. I certainly would recommend John Keefe and I wished I lived closer so I could actually purchase a vehicle from him. More
