Tony Cesario was knowledgeable and professional. Tony and crew successfully reconciled a dashboard sensor message and calibrated all four tire pressure sensors on my Chevy Traverse. In addition to that, Tony and crew located and patched a difficult to find slow tire leak that had eluded prior attempts by others to repair. Driving the Traverse on low traffic volume local roads and/or interstates with heavy traffic is that much safer thanks to Tony and crew at Phillip's Chevy thanks to their terrific actions taken to ensure equipment on the vehicle is free of known & potential issues. More

My last visit to Phillips Chevy was great; I'm a skeptic when it comes to getting my vehicle serviced, as a result of previous encounters at shady mechanic shops trying to reach sales quotas. Not happy with the last visit for service. I went in with a GM service bulliten that described the problem I was having with my ABS on my truck in exact detail. I discovered this service bulliten after doin a GM service bulliten that described the problem I was having with my ABS on my truck in exact detail. I discovered this service bulliten after doing some research online since this was a recurring problem. The service bulletin had instructions for the technician to remove and clean the sensors. No parts other than some lubricant required. I was hoping to get by with a relatively inexpensive repair bill. I was told by Tony to not rely on everything you read on line. Mind you, this was a "GM service bulliten" which identified in the header, my exact truck model and year. After mentioning more than once, that I was hopeful the bulliten identified my problem, I was again told not to rely on what I read on line. When I thought he would attach my copy of the bulliten to the ticket, he asked if I wanted it back (it appeared he was going the throw it away). I took it back. Didn't have a warm feeling at that time. The next day I received a call from Tony and was informed that the repair would be $585, a new sensor was required. I was then informed by Tony that the service bulletin did not apply to my vehicle, but was meant for earlier models. When I stated that the bulletin referenced my exact model and year, I didn't get much of a reply. I paid the $112 dollar diagnostic fee and picked up my truck. I realize I may need the replace the hub and sensor, but I would have expected them to at least attempt the repair suggested in the service bulliten. I'll probably return for service at some time since I have been a customer since the 70's, but not for this repair. More

While waiting on this particular visit, my daughter and I were quite hungry so Tony recommended a good choice for a restaurant where they have the best soup (he was right on about that) and he also arranged for a porter to give us a ride there. For our return trip to the shop, Marty (the best salesman ever) offered to give us a ride back. Thanks again to the service guys for washing and vacuuming the truck (I know it was dirty...sorry) Many thanks to everyone that made our visit anything but boring! We look forward to our next visit with Phillips Chevy in Frankfort! More
